Order the paté platter. Do it. You will never regret the meat sweats it gives you when you decide to eat the entire jar... Holy hell that is good stuff.

Awesome old boys club vibe, fantastic and imaginative drink selections and some tasty snacks.

Years ago I came to auckland working for Madonna.  We ended every night in the gin room with the owners.  So I have returned to auckland and couldn’t wait to check it out again.   We were denied to sit at the bar even though even though there were 2 seats open.  “There is a couple sitting there” no one ever came.   So we sit at a table right by the bar.  One of the bartender comes up and just gives us menus and doesn’t say a word.  (Maybe I knew what I wanted).  So 15 minutes go by and one of the bartenders is just talking while the other is ignoring us.  So we left.   The owners of this place are great dudes.  So let me know what nights you are working and I’ll change my review

What an absolute little hidden gem! We love our gin and just happened to walk past and so glad we did. The manager and the barmen were so hospitable and gave us some great conversations and tips for the area. If we were in Auckland longer we would absolutely spend another night or two here.

Great place to visit. It's become our regular place. Over 120 gins to choose from, and 18 tonics. Also have other spirits for those of that taste.

I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I cam here but it was so much better than what I had imagined.
It is located upstairs on Vulture lane, with the doorway the only thing visible from the street.
The place just looked really nice and the environment was quite relaxing. The waiter was very helpful especially if we were asking for things to try.
They have a range of different drinks, from cocktails (with and without gin) to straight gin or with tonic to wine and beer. They seem to cater for most tastes.
The cocktails were really interesting and each had their own flavour. I thought the most intriguing bit was the make your own martini.
Aside from the drinks they also offer some food and the chicken liver pate was amazing. Great flavour and texture and there was enough bread to wipe off all the pate.
Really nice service, food and drinks. Definitely a place to stop by for an enjoyable drink or two.
