I took two bikes in for repair tyre and was told a roundabouts time it would be done. I didn't receive a call as the week progressed. I had to call a few times to work out when my order would be picked up. I asked a price and when I finally collected bikes price was different more high then discussed previously. Slack customer service and felt it was a rip off.
Today I was walking to an appointment and past a young boy who was trying to fix his bike on the footpath. The back wheel seemed to have seized up. Luckily he was metres away from the bike shop. I asked him if he wanted me to help him carry his bike in to the store to get fixed but he told me he had no money. My heart broke so I offered to pay for the repair. I helped him into the store and was greeted by two lovely workers and explained the situation to them. The two men were so kind and helpful and insisted that they would do whatever they could to fix the bike for free. I walked out with tears in my eyes. This poor kid seemed to be doing it tough and it was so beautiful to see such kindness
Excellent friendly service and enthusiasm from the staff, particularly Rory - from waiting and holding the door for me when checking in & entering, to willingness to assist instore - well done mate, it's these things that make a real difference in retail and a positive impression of the business. Will be back in future.
Took my bike in to get a puncture fixed. After taking it home one of the screws had been taken off and not put back on. I called up and was told they don't do anything except for wriggle around. But now when I try pump my tire up my valve falls into the rim.
Bought an “around town” bike from the friendly guys at Bendigo Giant in the middle of Nov. 2019 to ride all summer. Excellent sales and service! Just took the bike in for a check, adjustments and install. Bike came back clean and even the chain was cleaned and oiled. Thanks! Highly recommend this shop.
Visited Nov 20th. Was told the bike I wanted would be in by mid December so they'd call me then. Fantastic service...but I never got called, so I called the week before Christmas as it was supposed to be a Christmas present. MY NAME WASN'T EVEN IN THE SYSTEM... After attempting to call again in January when my order had been forgotten about again, I rang to explain the situation and the phoneline just cut out. Thanks for nothing Giant Bendigo
Big shout out to the Giant Bendigo team. Always great service and friendly to deal with. Great help with the setup on my son's track bike. Honest advice without the hard sell!
Fantastic experience. I came in just before closing because I couldn't fit my back tyre on my bike and they were more than happy to put it on for me. And did so in a matter of seconds. Extremely friendly as well. Highly recommended!
