Bad receptionist. Booked for 10.15, arrived earlier and got seated by 10.15am. Now its 11am and I’m still waiting for my appointment. Turns out the receptionist forgot to put through my name. Wasted my almost an hour waiting for nothing. Super disappointing as this is my second visit.
AVOID THIS PRACTICE. 1. Was given a diagnosis from a doctor, was told that it’ll sort itself out. Weeks went by and it didn’t, was told by a doctor at a different practice that I should’ve been on medication to resolve the situation; and went through weeks of pain because of it. 2. Went to a different doctor within the practice and paid $105 for the consultation. Was told to call back for my results and was then charged $45 for my results which should’ve been provided regardless. IF I was told that it’ll be $45 for the consultation I would not have called and left it.
WORST experience I've ever had. I've booked an appointment last week and they canceled with 2h notice. I've rescheduled for today. I've waited for 1h and 15 minutes, and have to leave without being seen by the doctor. Avoid this place.
Great practice in new location. Friendly staff and doctors
The online booking system is great and I can get an appointment at short notice. It's also really convenient having pathology on the same floor. I have found most of the reception staff to be really lovely and helpful. However, there is one receptionist who I know is the reason for all the negative reviews on here. She's very unpleasant to deal with.
I have found the reception staff and doctors to be among some of the most professional people I have dealt with. Reception staff are always pleasant & accomodating where possible. The doctors I have seen have been thorough and patient in explaining issues and treatments. Could not recommend them highly enough. I have been a patient for 7 years.
The worst service I ever had, your front desk receptionist is just extremely rude and overreacted without reasons. This centre is not recommended at all for any international student
This place is more expensive than other doctors, but I find the price is worth it. Some of the most knowledgeable and thorough doctors I have visited. I was having a problem that I visited my local GP on a number of times, with the GP only telling me "well the test for an infection was clear but we can test again". The doctor at George Street medical did a proper examination and arranged an ultrasound which properly diagnosed the issue. I always pay the extra to go here whenever I need to see a doctor for anything outside of a standard head cold
Better services elsewhere. Not only do they not bulk bill but also keep you waiting and give you the excuse “I need to get a new watch”. No apologies or excuses. If you value your time, go elsewhere as these guys definitely don’t. If I could give them zero stars I would!
