Story

George's Meze is located in the heart of Subiaco. It's one of Subiaco's great old character houses with a charming Mediterranean garden.
It's the right place to relax after a stressful day and enjoy the layed back atmosphere and tasty Greek-Mediterranean meals.
George's Meze offers an interesting wine list with a great choice of Australian as well as few Greek wines. One of them is the unique Retsina.
A great way to start a Greek meal is with a glass of ouzo.
We are also famous for our refreshing ice cream cocktails for which we use high quality Il Gelato ice cream.

Great feed, amazing service. We went there on a Friday, amazing vibes feels like Greece. Music was authentic and the food as well. Enjoyed every moment. The desserts are so good too. Definitely would go back

Excellent food and even better service! George's Meze is THE best Greek restaurant I have ever been to, not only for the food, but also for the service. Especially the service from George himself! Will definitely come back for more!

Very tasty meat but worked very, very expensive as no banquet or set menu option available. We went a a group of 15 Certainly very small greek salad and dip servings and not the generous servings you'd expect from a Greek Restaurant.

Nice atmosphere. Good food. Great staff. What more can you ask for?
