A good public gym that is not pretentious and has plenty of equipment that is well maintained and tidy/clean. Peak is busy, but doable and off peak is bliss! Very friendly, helpful floor staff, front desk especially Shelby and PT's. Banging price for a local, community feel gym. Also highly recommend Trevor Howes the PT for getting stronger, more mobile and pain free from previous injures. I have been in his small group PT for over 6 months and I have learnt technique, form and mobility that has rehabilitated my ankle post surgery and made me the strongest and fittest I have ever been.
I joined a week ago and the place is extremely hot. Nearly passed out in the cycle class this morning no cool air just extremely hot, was never told of any aircon problems with I joined a week ago. Very disappointing and a work place health and safety issue.
Very good gym, great customer service. But the dumbbells and a lot of the machines are a little rusty or broken.

Huge gym with a large variety of cardio machines, strength equipment and group classes. This is the first gym I've joined ever and the staff made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. The reception staff also greeted me often whenever I entered and left the gym which was refreshing. They often have membership deals; I had 2 free personal trainer sessions which were really helpful for identifying my goals and getting into a routine as I was still new to going to the gym. Alicia is such an empathetic and patient personal trainer who taught me the basics and made me more confident with using the equipment. The bathrooms and equipment are clean with wet wipes readily available, they regularly do upgrades, they have AIRCON, you can choose the music and they also have a creche for parents. Overall, a fantastic gym!
I originally signed up here as we were having issues with our previous gym, and knew Lee, one of the administrative staff at Genesis. Signed up with no complications on the day. The gym is huge! Recently had a renovation completed, with new machinery, weights, lifting racks and a better designed floor plan. The staff are overwhelmingly nice and welcoming; always greeting you and saying goodbye with a friendly smile! They are happy to help with whatever they can, and have access to personal trainers and exercise physiologists as well! Everyone that attends the gym is really lovely, whether they're beginners or experienced lifters. Look out for peak times though, it is a bit of a battle for some machinery! The group classes I have attended not many have been really good! The instructors are very insightful to technique, weight, and encourage you when fatigue hits! Overall, I can't fault these guys! Definitely the best gym I have signed up to!
I absolutely love this gym, have been there for years now! It has such a positive happy vibe, everyone is friendly and they keep updating the facilities and equipment every so often! Plus they have great gym classes for everyone. They have been also taking very seriously the cleanliness of all spaces and keeping us all healthy ;
Awesome gym. Instructors are brilliant but more than that its just a warm friendly atmosphere. Is under new management and the new owner is constantly upgrading equipment, refurbishing, adding new facilities...hes doing a great job. I cant recommend this gym highly enough.
Awesome gym! The staff are super helpful and will always welcome you as you enter and leave. I start to look forward to my personal training sessions as the instructor cares about helping you reach your goals. Love the fact that its 24/7 which gives me the chance to workout at anytime. Definitely would recommend this gym to anyone.
