Lovely little place in norwest by the lakeside if u r craving for icecreams sorbets or shakes.nnWe tried the Italian nougatcontains alcohol, peanut butter florentinegood, hokey pokeygood and the cookies & creamfair ice creams.nCertainly biased towards Italian nougatawesome. Matcha can b a good choice too.nThey offer tubs, regular scoop and a baby scoop. Icecreams r served in cups n cones. While in the area my partner and I decided to check out Messina as we were both craving some ice cream.nnFrom past experiences we have found Messina to be lacking in customer service and overall atmosphere. However this Messina was definitely different. The fit out was funky yet modern and did not feel like your typical ice cream store. In a way it felt quite high end and very clean overall.nnWe were greeted with a smile by a staff member named Michael. He made us feel very welcome, answering any questions we had about the ice cream and letting us try any flavour we were interested in. He ended up recommending the dulce de leche and a new creamy mango flavour. He definitely knew the flavours well because we both really enjoyed them.nnFor anyone in the area we highly recommend the place. The staff made us feel welcomed and the flavour selection is great.
Hey guys, just wanted to say thank you for sorting everything out tonight as there was a mishap with Uber delivery from your Messina app. Really appreciate the refund and the extra tubs as well arranged by Zac and the note he wrote for us.nnWe wanted to give a huge shoutout to Zac. He honestly did his best to fix the situation and kept trying to sort things out with the HQ even after hours. You can tell he genuinely cared about resolving it properly and not just leaving it until the next day. So, thank you so much Zac for making it happen. We really appreciate your gesture.nnThe whole thing was pretty stressful at the start, but he really turned it around and we are thankful for the effort he put in. I love Messina’s ice cream, but the Norwest store is almost always unbelievably crowded. Every time I visit, it’s packed with long queues and very little space to move around, which makes it hard to enjoy the experience. The staff do their best and the gelato is still fantastic, but the constant crowds and busy atmosphere make me think twice about visiting this location. If you don’t like waiting, try going during off peak hours.
Such a great ice cream spot! nThe ice cream is delicious with plenty of flavours to choose from, and everything tastes really fresh and creamy. The lake views make it even better while you sit and enjoy your treat. I also love the specials—they always have great options to try.nIt’s the perfect place to relax, have dessert and take in the scenery. Definitely worth the visit!
