Messina has to be my favourite gelato spot in Sydney, and I’m thrilled there’s a location in the Hills area. Their flavours are consistently high quality and creative, and the texture of the gelato is always rich, creamy, and smooth.nnMy go-to is the pistachio praline — it’s absolutely delicious, with crunchy nuggets of pistachio adding the perfect contrast to the delicately creamy base. The white chocolate flavour is another standout — sweet and indulgent without being too overpowering.nnA great way to enjoy it is to grab a scoop and take a stroll along Norwest lakefront nearby.
Visited on a Sunday night with a friend, there were very long queues with a long wait to be served. Upon our turn to be served, the staff member rushed us and didn’t allow my friend to try a few more flavours she was interested in before ordering. Rushing us to serve the next people, we were made to quickly order and she was cutting us off when asking questions. Poor service, poor location only three small tables to be seated, the writing on the menu is hard to decipher due to the text. Would not recommend this place, parking is also difficult to find on the street.
Tried their pistachio, hazelnut, and chocolate flavors, and all were absolutely delicious. The texture was smooth and creamy, with rich, authentic flavors that stood out. The pistachio had a nutty depth, the hazelnut was perfectly balanced, and the chocolate was indulgently rich. A great spot for quality gelato—definitely worth a visit!
This Messina outlet has lot of varieties of gelatos and tubs with typical authentic taste which we are all fond of Messina’s.nnWe visited on Saturday evening and we waited in the queue for 10+ minutes which I always experience in every Messina outlets.nnApart from that, we had a good time with scenic lake view nnNo free parking available. But paid garage parking was available.
Good customer service.nLots of flavors to choose from.nNice ambiance. Fronting the lake.nOutdoor seating.nAffordable pricing.nStreet parking. Basement parking also available.
