Messina has really stepped up! I hadn’t been in a while because I was deep in a froyo phase, but I’m glad I came back. The pistachio ice cream is much less sweet now and even has whole pistachios in it. There’s plenty of seating both indoors and outside, and the music was on point too. Can I have the playlist?
the mixed plate was perfect for two people and SO reasonably priced. but the kounaffa stole the show. absolutely divine dessert. i will be thinking about it for the rest of my life. a must try.
The cafe has a lovely, spacious seating area and offers beautifully presented, delicious pastries. The coffees taste great. However, the overall experience was let down by the lack of staff training and attentiveness.nnWe ordered a flat white and an oat flat white to have in, but both were served in takeaway cups, and one ended up being more of a latte with thick froth—far from what we expected.nnLater, while we briefly stepped away to grab another pastry, leaving our belongings, half-full coffee, and some food at the table, the staff unexpectedly cleared everything. It wasn’t busy at the time, and there was no need to turn over the table quickly, so it felt unnecessarily rushed and inconsiderate.nnIt’s especially disappointing considering this is the headquarters location—you'd expect the standard of service here to set the benchmark. It’s a shame that Messina hasn’t invested more in properly training their team, or at least ensuring there’s one experienced staff member managing the floor. The food and coffee show promise, but the hospitality side definitely needs improvement.
One of the place where me and workout mates go to after an intense workout to reload the calories and have a nice coffeennIt has nice selection of pastries which looks yum. Staffs are nice and place also has nice seating space.
Delicious ice creams, sorbets and chocolate bars however for a Saturday night they need more staff. Nice stylish setting, staff need to clean up the areas quicker as far bit of rubbish left around.
