Hand-made daily onsite, Gelato Classico brings Artisan Italian gelato ice-cream, dairy-free sorbet, Italian lunch & organic coffee to Noosa Heads.

Story

Husband and wife team, Paolo & Holly, bring true Italian character to all their ice-cream, sorbet and frozen yoghurt products, which are created onsite fresh daily and crafted in the traditional Italian artisanal way using Paolo's Italian family recipes. You can also dine Italian-style with us with simple wholesome lunches available including house-made Italian piadina wraps, filling panini and healthy fresh salads. Vegan & Gluten-Free avail too!

Come in and see us making gelati LIVE through our unique purpose-built viewing window with our beautiful antique Italian 'EFFE' machine, with gelati ice-cream extracted by hand and paddle as it once was some 50-years ago in Italy. There are no secrets at Gelato Classico, here in Noosa: just fresh, creamy gelato and zinging fruit-filled sorbets produced in small batches.

We also serve smooth organic coffee, house-made Italian lunch savouries and healthy gluten-free options, and our frozen yoghurt has already gained a following with its enriched probiotics, served alongside fresh seasonal fruit salads. Yes, we make freshly squeezed juices, highlighting our wonderful local fruit and veg, along with smoothies and milkshakes. We love to support Queensland and local farmers, so we use Queensland dairy products, and we keep it so local that the passionfruit, lime, lemons, oranges, nuts, strawbs, and mandarins you will find in our products come right from the Noosa Hinterland.

All of our gelati and yoghurt products are gluten free, are low in sugar, we use plant-based stabilisers, and all sorbets are dairy free & gluten free.
