Gelatissimo is in the center of the CBD! The place is small, but it has several flavors of ice cream, you can also add nuts or candy for an extra 1 dollar. In addition, you have the option of ordering your ice cream in a cup, normal cone, chocolate cone or cone with colored sparks. They have a couple of vegan options, such as "triple chocolate" or the typical fruit sorbets. In case you don't want to eat ice cream, they have shakes, for example milkshake 2 scoops, thick shake 3 scoops and super shake 4 scoops. My ice cream was delicious however my partner got a hair in his ice cream : There is only the takeaway option
Stopped here for a late night since cream spot! Open until 10:00pm is handy for a cool down. We got the flavours, boysenberry and candy mountain and a small triple chocolate. The ice cream was refreshingly cold, and the flavours good not very strong The criticisms I have is that there is absolutely no system and is a bit chaotic both choosing, giving and receiving your order, would be good to have a queue system or a list of the flavours available by the door :
Located in the heart of the Queen Street Mall, Gelatissimo is a wonderful gelato establishment. The flavors all looked so wonderful I had a difficult time deciding which to get. If you love gelato, come to Gelatissimo! You won't be dissappointed.
Insanely good ice cream, interesting flavors, good presentation in the windows and probably the smoothest and creamiest ice cream I’ve ever had. It seems expensive but considering the quality and how much they LOAD UP the cups it’s worth it.
I have always ordered a passion fruit shake but this time is was just milk when I asked to the lady if she could put an extra scoop that I was willing to pay she refused to do it. I payed 8,50 for a takeaway milk ….. so disappointed
I don’t often leave reviews, only when i find something exceptional. This was exceptionally bad. We are big icecream/gelato people and are not fussy. We ordered two things both of which we threw away after a few mouthfuls. We ordered a milkshake with the flavours recommended, it literally just tasted like cold mild, would not have been able to tell there was flavoured icecream in there. We also got two scoops in a cup, the pistachio was a standout for being terrible. Artificially coloured and tasteless. Don’t waste your money and make our mistake
Incredible ice cream that hits the spot in Brisbane. Had a mix of caramel and pistachio for about 7.5 and it hit the spot. Lovely staff. Get another EFTPOS terminal, they were swamped!
This is the perfect place to go on a hot day. Some of the most unique flavours of Ice Cream with a fantastic range. The staff who served me was very nice and very fast and efficient. I only ordered the smallest size and was pleasantly surprised with the amount that is given, Much better than anywhere else I've ever been. You're definitely getting your money's worth.
Ok, the place is fine, but they need to drop the masks. Covid is over. Second, flavours are nice but they just don't seem the have the punch like they used to. I remember schlicks in the valley years ago, you'd go out for gellato and it was absolutely delicious!! Nowadays, they are mixing some kind of soy or seed oil derivative into the product , and its just not the same. Still reasonable value for money, but the product is not the same. 2/5.
Used to be my favourite spot of after dinner. Unfortunately they have changed, you are no long able to get testers of the new flavours. Being able to try flavours before deciding is a big part of the experience. I would of loved to have tried a new flavour last night but rather then risk it we all had to just go with what we new. Please change the policy.
