Tuesdays are the best days to visit this dessert restaurant. Everything is half price. I thought that all branches serve the same taste but then I was wrong. The branch in Mends street was a bit better, though they serve the same kind of food. Lots of diners go to this place especially Tuesdays.
Nice way to end an evening with icecream, and good company. Ordered vanilla with caramel sauce in waffer basket and a waffle with vanilla icecream. Will go back if that side of town.
When we wanted to have some samples of the gelato the worker started giving us attitude. Furthermore, overheard her talking to another coworker saying that we are only here to try the gelatos and leave. Felt like it was more of a racial thing coz of our color.

Really lovely service. Genuine and friendly. However this poor young lady was on her own, serving customers, barista, cooking and waiting customers. She had about 20 people in the shop all waiting lengthy times for their orders. To her credit she stayed calm and friendly and our food and coffee was great. She is an asset to this business.
Good, they were busy, we waited for 30 minutes they nailed the gluten free waffles, so worth the wait!!! Not the cheapest but definitely a nice something different : Tried the vegan salted caramel, was actually edible... !
Very good service from the young woman. The caramel fudge brownie had a weird grainy, floury taste like the brownie mix hadn't been incorporated properly into the mixture. The Cappuccino however was excellent. My son really loved his hot fudge sundae.
Love the girls on Tuesday nights! They are so lovely, polite and friendly. they make going for waffle on a busy Tuesday night a great experience. props to them 10/10 would recommend the waffles as well - delicious!
SOGGY WAFFLES?!?! I had the small classic waffle with my favourite cookies n' cream icecream and was SO disappointed. I went straight to the counter to ask if i could have another waffle made that was crispy as it normally should be and the lady replied straight away, "no as people here like their waffles soggy. If you want it crispy, you should've asked for it." WHATT?!?! I have been eating waffles for many years at Gelares elsewhere and never had I been disappointed. I would have been fine if the lady had explained that it was a busy night and it will take a long time to make it crispy, but instead the lady was rude and abrupt about it. Terrible customer service if you asked me. I was so shocked. I will definitely not return here for my waffle fix!!!
