Great concept. Items rescued at council tips, sorted & set out for resale at a tip shop. Interested to know where the money people spend onsite ends up, considering council fees, rates etc continue to rise.nnVery large op shop. Parking is all street parking but seeing as the shop only operates on a sat & sun I had no issue getting parking very close by.nnConsidering the size if you aren't looking for specific items & just having a wander/ gander, give yourself time here.nnThere is lots catered for, more home/ useful items as opposed to clothing dominating the space as you might find in suburban op shops.nnThere were a few sections, when I visited that were rather cluttered but I imagine that depends on what comes in from the tip on a weekly basis.nnPricing was definitely all over the place
The dvd section has declined over the past few weeks with the shelves looking empty but unopened boxes of dvds behind the counter. Please keep the shelves regularly stocked
Geebung Treasure Trove run by enthusiastically kind staff with plenty of treasures at bargain prices. Not many places these days you can find genuine bargains. Clean, tidy & a vast selection of household items. Keep up the great work :
Really cheap, great range of furniture and nice obliging staff. The price of books fluctuates weekly, 10cents to 50cents to $1. Up and down. Pricing comes from above ... staff say they have no control. Who knows. Maybe they have a soothsayer at head office.
I wish they still categorized their books or at least put the popular authors Dan Brown, Mathew Reily, Tom Clancy, etc in their own sections. Linkvision in zillmere has good categorized books
