I had to ship a 70kg item from Morwell Victoria to Sydney, just 2 days before Christmas. Gee Transport was a great solution. They were courteous, professional and a pleasure to deal with. The tracking site showed the progress and the Sydney depot called me as soon as it had arrived. A really great experience.
I've read the reviews. I had a great experience, the lady who served me was kind and supportive despite my package being redirected. This is not their fault as the shop I bought it from deemed it necessary as it was considered high risk. It wasn't concealed and would of been easy to steal. Bit of a drive, I'm sure it could of been left at near by post office but that's on me as I didn't update delivery as they had emailed me that this may happen.
My parcel went from Springvale to Morwell... It then sat in their depot for nearly a week... Phone conversation with them said the driver had covid., No effort to contact me to tell me this .. I then drove a hour to pick up parcel... The time I waited and time to drive I could have just gone to Springvale to pickup. It's meant to be express post k up..
Yesterday I went to a delivery depot in Morwell to pick up a StarTrack parcel which had been sent back to the depot when I wasn't home and there was a card in my mailbox. The depot was a truck company, nowhere near any other general shops you might use for groceries or services, and felt like it must be at least a kilometre or even two's walk from MidValley shopping complex in Morwell, It's in the back of an industrial area, bordering on paddocks. Pretty lonely walking for a pedestrian. I brought up with the customer service person how inaccessible the depot was, for anyone who doesn't drive, is old, disabled, etc, etc, and she said, "well if a disabled person can't get here, well, that's their fault, if you know what I mean." She said that they only have to attempt delivery once. After a lengthy discussion, where she stated that it wasn't her business' fault if no one is home when they deliver, and it's not StarTrack's fault if they allow agencies to be located in far off locations, I said she must have driven everywhere all her life, that not everyone drives, that old people, disabled people, maybe can't walk that distance, etc. Not a single ounce if empathy did she have. Twice I tried to re-direct the discussion to my actual package which it turned out wasn't there as I had apparently picked it up elsewhere, but she continued. Her lack of understanding actually made me sad. I did lay blame with StarTrack for allowing them to be a depot in that location, but she defended them. Twice, she said, "I totally disagree with you". I said, "well I just hope you never have any family or friends get disabilities, who can't drive and need help." she just didn't get it. As I left, I thanked her for her enlivening discussion. She said "yeah" sourly, and then as I walked out, and I heard her laugh loudly with her colleagues as I walked out the door. The experience was nothing short of awful. I should say that a second woman came out of the office to assist and was much more helpful than the first, and I am grateful to her for assisting me. It turned out that I didn't even have a parcel there as apparently I had picked it up already elsewhere. Thanks woman number 2, but no thanks to woman number 1. Shame on Australia Post for outsourcing deliveries through the notoriously bad Star Track, and not setting tight standards on the behaviour of their courier companies, including the suitability of their locations.
shockingly poor service i wish we could give no stars. sms update stated out for delivery would be delivered by end of business day, it wasn't and that was three days ago, still hasn't been delivered. next message i get said delivery unsuccessful nobody home, i was home all day and have been everyday since. I wish bigger companies wouldn't out source their deliveries GTS is really really bad. Saw a review reply by GTS saying how under the pump they have been over COVID period , whatever you have been provided extremely poor service for as long as we have been here which is over 20 years now, covid is just a convenient excuse
Possibly the rudest people I've ever met, seriously how anyone with such horrible customer service manages to stay in business is beyond me. And the service is no better, always behind, always loosing freight, freight always damaged, delivered by vehicles that can't be roadworthy. Utter disgrace.
i got express delivery 1-2 days it took 4 days. i didn't hear them knock even though i was home. pick up times for missed parcels are absolutely abysmal. don't know how they are still a company.
Always behind on delivery not just a couple of days, more so weeks. If you can't keep up with the demand you need to expand your business or sell it off to someone that can manage it better. And by far the rudest people to deal with via the phone.
Terribly slow, my item was expressed shipped yet took 2 weeks. Updates poor and lagging. Says out for delivery today yet didn't arrive until days later. Delivery guy rude. Would rate 0 stars if I could.
Been waiting 3 weeks for a pre-purchased consignment to be picked-up from my address. Called & booked at least 5 times. Yet to be picked up. Seen the truck driving around my estate on multiple occasions still not picked up!!! Hopeless.
