Highly recommend, especially for families with kids - open space for kids to run around, excellent family room, clean bathrooms and facilities. Great coffee shops and restaurants and Woolworths. Open access to sidewalk/street for people walking, but also offer 3 free hours of parking underground.
Well presented and great place to shop, dine at quality restaurants, do your banking, health and beauty or simply laze around the park. It's also pet friendly area. It's very clean surroundings.
Gasworks plaza is ok. Parking very busy. And I mean very busy. And don't forget the 2 hour free parking - not in a good way. Impossible to do a shop and have lunch and be out under 2 hours. Especially when it takes 15 minutes to find a vacant parking spot and 15 minutes get out of the parking afterwards.nIt's a busy place lots of people bustling about.nDisappointing lunch options. We chose the seafood and sushi option and it was awful. Awful food. Awful service. Expensive for what we had.nOh, did I mention the parking? Lots of big 4x4s driven by people that behave as though they are very special and whom think taking big sweeping turns in a busy and tight carport is OK. Finding a vacant parking spot is akin to winning the lotto after a rugby scrum.
Great mixture of shopping free parking for 2 hours didn't have a real problem finding a parking spot tip you can enter from both sides often easy to enter one side and leave the other skyring is a busy street.
My favourite go to one stop shop: Woolworths, gift shoots, optometrists. Vegetable shops, meat shop, florist, clothing, Chemist, Doctors, restaurant, post office, fitness, etc. the area is semi open air, it’s a pet friendly as well as children friendly, there’s a place where children can round around, ride their scooters or bike. The parking is free for 2 hours.
