Excellent fruit and veggie shop. The staff are kind and often offer kids a fresh piece of fruit to eat. Quality is always better than what is available in the big supermarkets in the shopping center, and prices are often cheaper. There are good bargains out front - $1 and $2 bags of fruit and veg.
Purchased $18 snapdragon flowers this morning. It’s now 5 hours later and half the petals have fallen off. Never again shall I waste my money here

It was a very unpleasant shocking first time shopping at this shop! The attitude of the check out counter staff was bad enough. However, the unreasonable behavior of one male staff was really uncalled for without finding exactly what has happened & started to tell me off that I should not say the word “ rude” to the check out girl! He was trying to lecture me that she hadn’t done anything wrong to deserve it. He even stopped me from explaining what & why did I say she was rude. Perhaps that’s the attitude of the staff working there. The check out girl showed impatient behavior when she was trying to check the price of item on the screen. Later, when it finished, I was waiting patiently for the receipt as I wud like to check whether she keyed in the items properly. However, she started to serve the customer behind me. I let her finished it & later asked for my receipt. She gave me an angry look & very reluctantly to print out a receipt. To me that’s a rude manner towards a customer as I deserved to ask for receipt which I paid. Moreover, she printed the wrong receipt too. If she’s unhappy to serve a customer then she shouldn’t be working at the front counter. As a customer, do I deserve such a rude manner? I believe I wouldn’t have said she was rude if her manner & attitude were good. Therefore, please find out the reasons before telling off your customers who shop at your store! No one will like that service & I can say I won’t be shopping at your store anymore!!!
Just got an Uber Eats from here - 12-pack of eggs + various vegetables - everything clearly fresh but ripe and excellent value for what I paid after the $10 discount. Will be ordering again.
I have been going to this shop for years because I've found the quality and prices to be very good. A couple of days this week I've noticed that all the cashiers and female stockers have been wearing their masks correctly, but unfortunately some men seem are wearing their masks under their noses. When I politely challenged one of them I was advised how difficult it is to wear a loose mask for 14 hours straight, and that I should 'try It'and 'Show some respect'. The owners should be insisting on the correct wearing of masks, but apparently have chosen to ignore the problem. I won't be shopping there again until all visible workers are wearing their masks over their mouths and noses.
Disappointed in the quality of two bunches of flowers I purchased. After 1 day they are drooping and look like they are about to die. I phoned to let them know and they politely said 'it is what is' and not the right season for this type of flower. I've loved purchasing flowers here but now reluctant to go back.
I’m a regular customer here but really disappointed to see staff wearing face masks under their noses during Melbourne’s latest covid outbreaks — which defeats the whole purpose of masks! Please wear masks correctly, for your safety and ours.
The staff are so warm especially those elder men! And the specials are always at amazing prices with good quality! Since I found this food store I rarely go to supermarkets. Really love that fresh feeling you can find in this shop.
