This review is specifically for the franchise. Brought a voucher online but it was for the Perth store. Voucher hasn't worked on Perth stores website, they did not accept the voucher in Adelaide store. Why are they both called games world?
Always get a feeling of happiness when I go to Games World! If you are looking for a game, this is the place as this shop has traditional games, old fashioned and new board games, card games, puzzles, fidget gadgets and more. Check them out if you are in the city, they are located in the historical Adelaide Arcade.
Be aware that what is advertised on site might not be what you receive. I ordered 2 Rubiks cubes from the Marion store, off of their website. WHen i receieved them , they werent what was advertised - on the con note AND reciept, it said from the Gawler plc store in the Adelaide CBD. THere was no attempt to contact me to let me know of the chagne of product, nor was it listed on the website. I had to make my way in and pay for parking on my day off to exchange the items. I was told that it was Marion store mistake - yet as i said above, it was sent from the CBD store. I was shown alternatives of slightly greater value and asked if they could be discounted and was told that's the price they have them for. I was then offered cubes for the same price but less quality. I am a performer,. my props dont need to be the most expensive but certainly on stage have a decent enough quality to display and work with. A discount wouldve been sufficient for my troubles of having to correct someone elses error, drive to the store and pay for parking. I have also submitted a complaint to ACCC for their false advertising. It just makes for a massive inconvenience and was disappointed by the store.

Fabulous! Young staff helpful when I needed it, also allowed me to wander quietly.
Good variety of games to cater to both general customers and 'gamers'. Lots of knowledgeable staff on the floor to help out and promote the hobby. Appreciate them stocking some indie RPGs.
The staff is very helpful and I loved the suggestion given to me by the saleslady. Thanks!
