Obvioulsy. No function by design! This is my 3rd pair of fxd shorts. All pockets and material have worn through in the same places each time. My partner recently purchased the newer series of fxd shorts and they have only lasted me 3 months. Now i cant use the pockets without having things fall through them. Is that function? I e-mailed fxd months ago and never had a reply . Certainly lost me as a customer!

HI, My son and husband always wear FXD work shorts and trousers, but the pockets are made with thin cotton fabric, therefore, keys and phones wear holes in the pockets rather quickly. My suggestion is - to have the pockets made out of hard wearing fabric to withstand the constant items rubbing on the inside. The clothing wear extremely well, just the pockets wear out quicker than the item. Thank you

Just brought some shorts and found the new design not real useful if you have your phone in your pocket, fills up with dirt as there is no flap to cover the top of the pocket, expensive shorts that are not tradie friendly
