We damaged our rental car and needed to get an estimate for the repairs to our front left fender. Although there was not sufficient time for Furness to do the repairs at their shop, he was willing to go the extra mile and provide an estimate for the insurance company. As he said in his words, “I hate to have people ripped off” and provided us with a fair and reasonable estimate. Reputable company and would highly recommend!!Service: Body & Trim
Neville has been my family's mechanic for as long as I can remember. Not only does he manage to fix anything you need he always makes you smile somehow. We have been going to Furness Motors for years. Neville is always honest and reasonably priced. Will never rip you off or do anything unnecessary. He is also an amazingly good mechanic who knows all sorts of things about all makes and models. Gives good advice too, and will always go that extra mile. Thoroughly recommended!!
Furness motors has been servicing our 2 cars for around 5 years. Neville is great to deal with and I have absolutely no reason to doubt his honesty, which is very important to me for a car mechanic. The prices are reasonable and most of the time he does a great job. I have had a few incidences of where Furness didn't get things right, or couldn't fix the problem, but Neville always fixed these problems for free or didn't charge if he couldn't fix things. So despite some inconvenience I feel like I have been treated fairly and will continue to go there. The workshop is a short walk to MacLeod station, so that's very handy for train travellers. Don't expect a dealer experience there, with polished waiting room and free coffee, just no frills, friendly, honest and affordable car servicing.
