We had a horrid time here today. The staff at this centre are incredibly rude. I was waiting at the counter to order some sandwiches for the kids and the manager decided to spend 20 mins upstairs before taking our order. Other customers were lined up behind me also. When we finally did make our order it took over 30 mins to get 3 sandwiches out because they are clearly understaffed and overwhelmed trying to afacilitate private party. My family and I were seated on a table closer to the large play set up the back. There were no signs or markings to indicate that this table was reserved like other tables that had signs throughout. Naturally a reasonable person would conclude that this was not reserved. Some 30 mins after we put our items down the manager rushes over to us, in clear sight of other guests, extremely confrontational and says in a harsh loud tone "You can't sit here you have to move". She simply could have indicated it was booked and we would have gladly moved. She was rude and unprofessional. The food itself is overpriced $8.50 for a piece of toast with cheese and tomato. The centre equipment is old, damaged and dirty. Save yourself the frustration and go to any other place- its not worth the time or money.
The most accommodating staff! So hospitable. My son had the best time with his friends. The play equipment was so much fun! The food was great and there was plenty of it. Parents could relax and just enjoy the party. I look forward to taking him back soon!
It's about time the balls in the ball pit were cleaned!!! Looks like years and years worth of accumulated crud attached to them all. Also they could remove the damaged balls and here's another idea, why not replace the block of foam that is the step into the ball pit. Taped together within an inch of its life its pretty disgraceful its still in use!!You charge enough to enter yet your equipment is way under proper standard expectation. No pride has been taken in repairing broken parts of the climbing structure or to replace worn mats. I absolutely will not take my child back again, I'm worried they will get sick from the clearly unhygienic and obviously very dirty play environment What a disgrace to the management!!!
We had privately booked out this venue for our sons 1st bday. The venue was perfect! Parking was easy for guests, the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They were so proactive and supportive. All the guests and kids had so much fun! Thank you Fun house for helping us create a beautiful 1st bday for our bub!
Staff member extremely rude to my 5 year old son while playing in the toddler section with his siblings. We were unaware there was an age limit for the toddler section. My son was upset after being told off by the staff member. Given we are the customer there are better ways to go about managing this not getting angry at the children for playing and having fun. Very disappointing
This is a good place to go when your children are going nuts at home or it's raining because it's indoors. There are a couple of downsides though. The play equipment looks pretty tired and rundown, there are rips in the soft play equipment where you can see they've tried to fix with duct tape and a lot of the gadgets don't work. Another downside is the food, it takes a very very long time to get your food and they don't allow outdid food, so when your toddler is unbearable waiting for food because they're so hungry personal experience, my toddler was a mess when he was hungry I ordered way before his usual lunch time to allow for it to cool, but it came well after his lunch time and he was so hungry screaming because the food was hot great being hot, not so good when my tot wants to scoff it all down, but still a good place to burn energy. One other thing I'd say though, if you can, take public transport because it's a small parking lot and because it's in an industrial area there's very limited parking on the street
We attended a fantastic birthday party over the weekend at the Fun House but something I feel compelled to complain about our experience. What appeared to be the owner having a go at kids 4 and 5yo for playing in the toddler section and making them cry. The behaviour was completely unwarranted and unacceptable as these kids weren't doing anything malicious, with some in there because they had toddler siblings they wanted to play with, not to mention these kids can't read any signs at their age. Staff might want to check their attitude and behaviour toward children as it makes me never want to attend this place again after our experience .
Great sized play area for kids. Lots for them to do. We would return
Such a lovely, clean & well organised little play centre. My 3yo loved it and so did I! Service was fabulous, there was only the one lady behind the counter but she was totally across everything and we didn't have to wait long at all. I had accepted that playcentres would have dodgy coffee but mine was actually fabulous which was a really nice bonus. Will defs come back again
If I could give 0/5 I would. Do not waste your money on this place. Where do I even start! By far the worst part of this place is the aggressive and rude woman behind the counter, food was horrid and took an hour to come we ordered a few toasted cheese sandwiches and chips! and you have to pay for kids under 1 to sit in the pram or on your hip- Every week myself and 3 other mothers with 11 children between us meet up 1-2 times for our kids all under 3 to play normally for quite a few hours and most of these plays are at a playcenter as it’s just easier. This week we were all out of there in 2 hours- everyone couldn’t wait to leave- This week we took a butter cake with 3 ingredients for my sons birthday- we are having a party this weekend however that upon arrival I was barked at that I would not be able to cut the cake inside but instead on a table in the entrance and the kids would have to eat outside- I understand there are food regulations which is why there was no ingredients in the tiny pathetic cake we brought but fair enough and I had no problems with that. So after waiting and hr for the horrid, very overpriced food we were all served, we left. Out the front the sad little table to cut a bland little butter cake when all of a sudden the miserable woman behind the counter obviously had changed her mind and startEd screaming and abusing us and the kids that “she isn’t paid enough to clean up after us and our kids” “if we’re hosting a birthday party at her establishment we need to pay $80” “she’s been good to us allowing us in today” WE PAID FOR EVERY PERSON THERE, WE ATE THE HORRIBLE EXPENSIVE FOOD I’m not entirely sure what she thinks she did, other than loose an INCREDIBLE amount of money to the owners of this place because none and none one I know will ever be returning to this place. We spend alllllllot of money at play centers and not 1c will be here ever again. If cutting the cake made a mess, we would have cleaned it up. But instead we had to sit the kids in the boot of the car in the pouring rain to cut and eat this cake. We were all in disbelief at this woman and her behavior which was worse than any toddler I’ve met.
