We bought a watermelon from here, we found there was something really wrong in the middle, can't eat it. It was disgusting. We bring it here with the receipt trying to get an exchange, unfortunately, one of the staff refused and said we can only get refund if we cut it immediately after we bought. We are here because the fruits have quality problems but not because of we didn't see it immediately. Even we cut it and leave it for one day, it still has the same problem. We don't even ask for a refund but an exchange. This is really irresponsible and disappointed. Worst experience ever. The only fault we have is to spend money here. Won't come back ever.
I thought I would give this fruit shop one more go. Purchased apples, bananas and avocado. Popped it in the fruit bowl and the next morning my bench was crawling with maggots. Threw it all out! Maggots didn’t come back. We live in a new clean home. I am 100% maggots came from their fruit. On top of that the cashier just assumed he could keep the change when I paid cash it was only 10c but it’s just shows the rudeness of the staff. Do not shop here.
Fair enough.many People so picky they just want everything to be perfect. Now big supermarket very greedy they should be cheaper than those small fruit store.
Good prices for veggies and fruits, some items went Off within a couple of days but at the price we paid it did not really matter.we shop there every week
Every single time I purchase food from this store it is either off once I get home once I open the veg or fruit or it goes off within a day or so. I have given this shop multiple goes to see if it improves over the years but it seems to remain the same. They are “cheap” but you may as well just throw your money in the bin. For instance today I purchased some stone fruit in a pre package and I asked the lady if the price was due to them being on their way out, she gave me a dirty look and said “no!”. I get home and they are mouldy and soft see photos below the photo makes them look better than they are I would rather give Woolworths my money. I feel sad for the people they rip off with their food, especially those who need to budget for food and end up with off food. Disgusting! Will never shop their again.
