With a great range of beers on tap and a decent lunch menu makes for a nice lunch destination. The beers I tried Nor Ester Pale Ale and You're Driving IPA where both solid beers, that I would happily drink again. Tasting paddles available. I had the buffalo wings and chips for lunch, whilst the others tried the burgers. I was super happy with my choice and the reports on the burgers where all good.
Delicious fresh meals but the stand out was the beer tasting. Each beer was unique full of flavour, interesting and quite delicious. The way the staff ordered the tasting paddle also added to the enjoyment. Fun quirky and relaxed decor, interesting place to sit and enjoy a relaxing beer. Great music and vibe. Will deff be back again
The different craft beers were quite refreshing and their ginger beer was absolutely tasty, but the food was abit of a hit and miss, although it tasted good the size portion was different each day. Ordered the chill caramel pork belly and got 4 pieces and then went back 2 days later and ordered it and got a whole bowl full of them. The burgers were quite small as well which was a little disappointing
We had dinner and beers three nights in a row, both were excellent, the Dr Chronic especially excellent! Last night we asked if we could have grilled fish instead of fried, not a problem and it was delicious. Tonight we brought two of our friends who also wanted grilled fish. We were told that grilled fish was only available to coeliacs. I was like, "Err what if we just said we were coeliacs?". Reply, "Well then you can't have chips". So the four us us had dinner around the corner.
Good craft beers. Tried their mango sour which is really refreshing, and also the stout which was malty but not too bitter and easy to drink. They're a great accompaniment to what we ordered to eat. There's a lack of local fish produce but their food was well done and doesn't disappoint. We got the fish burger with miso sauce and the fish was perfectly done, flaky and fresh. The chips were crispy too. Then we got arancini and sriracha chicken wings. Arancini was creamy cheesy; the wings are tasty and paired well with salsa verde. They're really busy so go early and get a table. They did really well with time given they only have 2 chefs in the kitchen!
We ordered the fish curry, calamari and prawns. The calamari and fish curry were quite disappointing, calamari tasted nice but it took more than an hour to arrive and we were surprised to see just 4 small pieces. The fish curry tasted quite bland and not worth the price of $30.
Love the lay out of this place. Menu gluten free and dairy free friendly. So many different areas to sit in and enjoy the atmosphere. Cocktails are delicious
Lovely meal, great beers, very crowded the night we went.
Good decoration and live music on certain days i.e. Friday nights. But the food and drinks were just ok - both beer and mixed drinks. Staff was friendly. It seems like the place locals come to party on Fridays.
Great beers and atmosphere. Fish and chips top knotch. Missus had the pasta which was also excellent!
