Wonderful setting to relax before the show and have a drink! Super friendly staff at all bars. Cocktails are tasty but a bit small for the price. I’d say have a beer or wine instead. Toilet facilities neat too. So don’t rush to be in time for the show - jump on an earlier train and enjoy the drinks and food en route from Perth Station to the Pleasure Garden or Russell Square in front of the WA Art Gallery.
Fringe is great, went and saw Golden Hour last night and it was fantastic. The whole Pleasure Gardens is a great set up, even had a dance at the silent disco. Highly recommended.
Corey White and his comedy show heard mortality was excellent. Awesome to see this young man strive his way through the cancel culture and stick into his guns doing comedy, how he sees fit it’s only jokes people
It was nice. Lots of show to attend, amazing food and drinks and very cheerful and bright setting. Might visit again before it ends.
My daughter and I attended Disney does Drag. I laughed so much my cheeks hurt the next day. An outstanding performance , had us transfixed. Such a talented group of performers and now I have a huge crush on the Hairy Godmother. It’s was my daughters second time seeing in a week. She loved it so much she invited me on her second time. Such a great time spent and great costumes. Ruth
I bought a ticket to a show, but I was refused entry because I didn’t have enough stamps on my pro-segregation jab card. The venue capacity for The Sewing Room is below 500, but apparently it’s licensed as a “nightclub”. If this is a deciding factor for them, I believe they should have a notification at point of purchase, whether the venue will accept you as a patron.
Waste of time as they don’t accept cash payments. What a joke of an event, terrible organising and wouldn’t waste your time, go to other local events that are better organised
Beware the inflexible policies in making bookings at fringe and don’t expect good customer service. If only I could give no stars…
Johnno McDonno falls in love is an awesome show! Kids friendly too. Our kids enjoyed it very much. If you have kids and want to bring them to something out of the extraordinary and fun, bring them to watch Johnno McDonno falls in love at fringe world perth!! We totally love it!! Followed by the silent disco! Amazing experience with our kids!!!
Best time of year to be in Perth without a doubt! Great vibe, great acts, great times. The whole city comes alive for this month and is the best of itself. Couldn't recommend it more honestly. Save your dollars at Christmas, spend it during fringe....!
