On behalf of myself and husband.Last Friday, my husband was redirected to three different xray departments due to all being booked out.He was suffering intense back and leg pain due to swelling.Thinking all was lost, on his way out of town thought of Friendlies.Immediately attended to with kind professional persona.Waited 2 minutes, seen and service provided immediately. SO WHAT IS THE NONSENCE ABOUT the FRIENDLIES unable serv ice their community.? Thank you good people for your professionalism. GNE ROCHE.
I want to express my sincere gratitude to all of the nursing staff that helped me get through a painful back injury. Unit No. 1….you’re No.1.. Special mention to Tim Ricketts and Ashleigh R.Student Nurse. I could see that both of them had a wonderful relationship not only with me but more importantly to their chosen profession of nursing and caring.Tim helped me see the light at the end of tunnel to recovery. A huge Thank You to Dr Emeka and his team for for the excellent care I received on Monday. I had already been to the Urgent Care Clinic and Base Hospital; and was in considerable pain by the time I arrived at the Friendlies Emergency Dept. The wait was short, the staff were kind and helpful, and the care was First Class. My concerns were heard and addressed. The cost was a fraction of what I expected from a private hospital Emergency Dept and worth every cent. I have since learned that a few years ago my mother also received outstanding care from Dr Emeka at the Friendlies Emergency Dept; and in any future emergency situations it will be my first choice.
I recently had an unexpected medical issue that brought me to The Friendlies Hospital, and while being in pain is never pleasant, I can honestly say my experience here was outstanding from start to finish.nnI want to extend my deepest thanks to the incredible medical team—Dr. Paterdis, Dr. Barba, and Dr. Groves—who showed not only expertise but genuine compassion throughout my treatment. Their clear communication and professionalism helped put me at ease during a stressful time.nnEqually impressive was the nursing staff. Donna, Dan, Ross, Viv, Sini, Tori, Olivia, Mica, Cass, and Caitlin—you were all simply amazing Sorry if I missed anyone. From your kindness and patience to your prompt attention and reassuring words, you made a world of difference in my stay. I felt truly cared for every step of the way.nnEven though I was dealing with an unexpected and painful health issue, the care I received at The Friendlies made me feel supported, safe, and respected. I’m incredibly grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hospital to anyone needing high-quality, compassionate care.nnThank you all for everything!
Had day surgery on the 7/11/25 All the staff were amazing especially the nurse Jouno who looked after me he such amazing nurse.
