The worst Emergency room experience of my life..!nAs a Returned Serviceman I suffer from PTSD and a crushed disk in my spine. I presented to the Emergency ward only to be escorted outside and told they will not see me. My liver function was WAY outside of normal range and shutting down. If I didn't manage to get to Greenslopes private Hospital in Brisbane two days later, I was told I would have died..!nShame on you Friendlies. You talk a big game about helping Vets, but your actions speak louder than words ever could. Oh and yes, I'm considering legal action.nDO NOT go to the Friendlies, they are a disgrace to the medical profession.
I am a nursing student from Sunshine Coast just finished my 3 weeks placement. Especially thanks to unit 5 nurses Elmer Krystal and Toni who I have spent most of the time with and learned a lot from. Catering and PCA and other staff are nice too you feel people are doing a job wholeheartedly. Bundaberg is such a nice town wish I had the chance to be back and work with fabulous people!
I can absolutely recommend the FSPH. The standard of care is so high I have been seen twice though FED and the Dr's and nurses there are amazing at what they do. Yes you have to pay $250 to been seen, but it's worth every cent, to be treated promptly, and with and exceptional standard of care.nnI recently had a week's admission in Unit 4 and was made feel so comfortable. The Level of care is absolutely astounding. I just wanna give a big shout out to Dr Wamala, Dr Van Der Westhuzin and Dr Pramodya. A massive thank you to all the nurses on unit, every single one of you are so amazing at what you do.nnThe orderlies, catering, staff and cleaners, it was like staying in a hotel.nnSeriously cannot fault this hospital.
My wife has been to this hospital many times for procedures however recently we found that the standard had considerably dropped. Yes there are good nurses but unfortunately there are bad ones. The pre-operative admission was poor, operation time was over 2 hours late. To top it all off my wife ended up in the critical care ward and no one bothered to tell me. Not to mention influenza breaking out in the surgical ward. Then knowing ahe suffers from panic attacks she was abused by a male nurse for wasting his time. So she self discharged and I took her home. My qife recommends doing research when looking at hospitals and even consider Brisbane Private Hospitals or the Sunshine Coast
My third visit to this wonderful hospital. Well, haven't even reached the end of my third yet but I'm very confident that with the continued high service of care shown by all staff that that day is close now.nMy sincere thanks.
