I've been eating omelette sandwiches and drinking coffee at Raj's cafe since 2011. In all this time he's never changed his quality or his service, it's always been top notch. I'll keep visiting as long as it's open!

Nice cheap cafe.  Not as stylish as it's neighbors but really good value.  Seating simple but comfortable.  Coffee is really good.  It's a real hole in the wall type cafe.  #coddiewiimpleicp

Raj is as friendly as the name of his cafe. Will make anything on his menu as you like it. The chocolate milkshake really is one of the best in Sydney. Great spot for breakfast without having to line up with pedantic customers that would frequent the nearby cafes. Strongly urge you to trial this place.

Great little find! Had a fabulous smoothie and a delicious chicken burger - and Raj even cut it in half and wrapped it individually as we were sharing. Old fashion service with a smile!

Went to this place for the first time today after doing The Bay Run. Quiet and unassuming, Friendly Cafe is run by Raj one-man operation for the past 10 years or so. While the decor or store outfit is nothing that will catch your eye, Raj's personable nature and the way he treats his customers is outstanding. All the food is made fresh to order, with no item on the menu costing more than $12.50. The Banana/Peanut/Caramel Smoothie was one of the highlights, and inbetween orders I got to know Raj a bit - when I told him I was keen to come back in the future, he asked for my name and said "bring your friends, I'll look after you". Friendly Cafe definitely gives a personal neighbourhood vibe that you aren't going to get at other typical brunch destinations.
