"Freycinet marine farm is a oyster and mussel farm that has a farm gate cafe. We farm our oysters and mussels in the amazing waters of the Tasmanian Freycinet peninsular. We are located on the way into the Freycinet national park, on your way to the beautiful wineglass bay. We also prepare other local seafood cooked to eat in or fresh for you to takeaway to enjoy on a beautiful beach or in your accommodation. We sell local wine and beer. We have a large car park and toilets. But our seafood is our hero, love from the ocean. Lookout for us when you are on the Great Eastern drive, South of the bay of fires. We are open 9-5pm, kitchen closes at 4pm"

the best fish and chips I ever had! Fish was so moist and lightly battered to the point. oysters and mussels are very fresh and well flavoured, though the oysters not as fat and juicy as those in Bruny Island. Scallops also very tender. The bread roll was crusty good complement to eat with the seafood. Everything we ordered was yummy.
Best seafood lunch we've ever had. Every single dish is so yummy and fresh. There are heaps parking at the site and wheelchair accessible. Dishes are served quickly. Highly recommended!Food: 5/5
We ate fresh seafood everyday during our 7 day holiday around Tasmania, often in high end restaurants, but this modest humble eatery is the best! We had oysters, scallops and mussels and every dish was tops. We drove from Bridestowe lavender farm to get here and had to rattle through 20km of unsealed roads but it was worth every bone shaking km. Unforgettable meal!
I only made a quick stop here. Oysters were large, fresh and crisp. It didn't have any 'sea' smell to put you off. Although it was a short visit, I could tell this would be a must visit for any oyster enthusiasts. I'll definitely come back again for a longer visit. They offer marine farm experience too. Maybe I'll try that next time.
Food was delicious and the atmosphere is amazing. The whole area is just so beautiful. Oysters are also really cheap. A dozen natural fresh oysters for $28? Hell yes!Food: 5/5
This place it's just incredible. Food is something from outside if this world. Dishes are fresh and very tasty. Prices are good and the quality is great. An extra point to the staff that's very friendly. If you are around this part of Tasmania, this is a MUST stop in your trip. You won't regret it
Great Range of seafood options beyond oysters, large venue and friendly staff. We had the 1/2 cray, natural mussels with lemon , oysters natural , kilkpatrick as well as the Freycinet style also. Our favourite oysters were the Freycinet style, as it preserved the natural flavours of the oysters to come through, with sauces that allowed non-oyster lovers to also enjoy it. The least favourite would be the kilkpatrick ones, as the amount of bacon on each oyster was overpowering and we felt it wasn't the ideal way to enjoy these. If you hate the taste of oysters but somehow still want to have some then i recommend this option. The mussels were delicious, i would happily order those again in lieu of the 1/2 cray which was good but not outstanding. Big props to the staff who remained friendly and attentive despite the massive numbers of people during the holiday season.
Love, love this place! Great oysters, scallops, prawns, and such! Nice selection of sparkling and wine! Lovely casual outdoor atmosphere. Can’t wait to return!!
Perfectly crisp battered fresh creamy textured fish with excellent chips & generous serving of sauce. I'm told the garlic scallops special on foccacia bread was interesting & both the salmon & oysters were good
Oysters were delicious and fresh. Also ordered the fish and chips. Chips were good but fish was average in regards to taste. Do recommend visiting for fresh oysters though!
