We shop at Fresh Pros probably three times a week for the fresh produce. Today we purchased two nice fresh heads of broccoli at a good price. I asked if they could cut the excess bulk away to fit them in our bag. The young lady took them somewhere and came back with two heads that went into my bag. I got home to discover I'd been given two old bruised and brown stale heads of broccoli. These had been substituted for the fresh ones. We were stunned at this abuse of trust and dishonesty. I rang Fresh Pros and they said bring them back and get two more. I did but this time I took my own knife to make sure there was no substitution again. The cost was only $4 which makes the substitution even worse. We are still in disbelief that Fresh Pros would do such a thing and substitute old stale bruised broccoli for fresh broccoli and risk their reputation for $4!

I brought groceries from Fresh Provisions Bicton for a friend. My friend opened up the packet of tandoori chicken drumsticks the next day to find maggots crawling through them. When I contacted the manager he said he’d never “seen anything like this in his 30-40yr career in the food industry.”nnBasically accused us of making it up. He offered me to bring back the entire lot of groceries and refund me for what I returned and give me a voucher, but I wouldn’t want anything from this shop again. We discarded the rest. Please be careful when buying anything from the deli section here

Great range of products and some in-house samples of the produce. Parking is at a premium at busy times. Close proximity to a great butcher and lovely cafes.
