All the food, grilled fish, chips, baby octopus and oysters were cold! We live 5 min down the rd so no chance it was the drive home. My guess is food pre cooked and quickly reheated. The food tasted terrible because of it just terrible! We won't eat from there again..

I don’t understand any of the bad reviews here. Been coming here for ages. I used to just walk past until one night she was busy so checked it out. Oh My!!!! Best fish n chips EVER!!! The lovely lady who runs this place loves to make people happy with her food. She’s always smiling, kind & again food is yummo!!!! Don’t waste your time walking past, go in & order. You’ll thank me later.

Pros:  open over Easter Cons: slow service, and food is not fresh- food poisoning!  I ate here on Good Friday. I was in the neighbourhood for a nearby RPG Convention. I ordered the hamburger with the lot. The ingredients were stale and soggy like they had been precut and kept in water and were just... Old ingredients. I could not finish the burger. It tasted bad. I had maybe two bites of it. The chips were also so salty I could not eat them.  This place is always hit and miss, with only one staff member on over Easter, but I usually have given it a free pass as it is close enough to the convention.. And there aren't really any other choices up this end of glebe over Easter open before 5pm.  But this time myself and my husband who foolishly tried a bite after I said the burger was inedible have been sick with a stomach virus since Sunday. Ruining our weekend and requiring my husband to take time off work.  I sadly did not obtain a photograph of the offending burger, but believe me. I will be giving this place a miss from now on.

Might not be the best looking restaurant but the food is always so good, some of the best hot chips and grilled barrumandi fish I have ever had and the lovely lady that works here is the sweetest. No matter how busy it gets she always has a smile on her face.

Omg disgusting! Really fancied fish and chips so went to our local.. big mistake! The chips tasted sweet and the fish tasted soggy! Ate one bite and left the rest. Don't do it!!

Excellent balance between food and value. For the same plate is very normal to pay at least double. Definitely going back there.

New ownership food not as good a quality and how do you make a soggy hamburger? They managed it! Yuck!
