Good quality food. However, in I've had three orders not received on the day expected or not at all. Also I have three chiller boxes they have never collected. All issues have been sorted but the that's not the point. Just want reliable deliveries. They said 11 months ago they are working on easier to peel lids. They are a nightmare and need cutting off. Also I have suggested the font be made bigger to show the cooking instructions. Really hard to read and a few had totally the wrong cooking times listed. They've got the food quality right they just need to work on the packaging and deliveries.
Love freahmeals2u! Bought the meals for my elderly mum as a healthy alternative to frozen meals, and she has really enjoyed the quality and taste! Great variety with a “homemade” touch - not over processed and my mum is a discerning eater! Really appreciate this service, and will be a repeat customer.
I am so impressed by the food! This is the first meal delivery service I have tried and I am so glad I went with Fresh Meals 2 u. I have been buying the low-carb deal for my boyfriend and I, and we have both felt less bloated and are loving the extra time we have now that we aren't cooking. The customer service team are great and answered all my questions and concerns regarding a later delivery than expected. I will continue buying meals from here - they just taste so great!
Online ordering is quick and easy although I think the descriptions for the meals could be a bit more thorough i.e what the 'sides' are. Delivery has been reliable, on time and by a driver who is able to read and follow delivery instructions! The containers are stackable and easy to store in the fridge, although, the sealed plastic is near impossible to open. It doesn't peel, as is suggested on the instructions, rather, you have to use a serrated knife to carve the top open each time you want to eat. The microwave instructions are vague but really, common sense should prevail. Look at what you're heating up and decide for yourself how long it would normally take in your microwave - treat it like leftovers and you're fine. I've managed to heat the eggs benne to perfection on multiple occasions and am yet to have an egg explosion. The food itself is fantastic. I am an extremely fussy eater and very rarely eat meat. This is the only food delivery/pre-made meals I will actually eat meat from. What's more, I enjoy it! The quality is absolutely not comparable to other companies I have tried. The fresh ingredients actually taste fresh. Carrot tastes like carrot, unlike some other companies where everything has that distinctive 'frozen food' taste. The flavour combinations are well-thought out and there is a good variety of proteins. Cons are that in a couple of dishes mostly the beef ones the meat is quite grisley. Also there are very few vegetarian options. Would love to see more vegetarian dishes! Overall though, I'm a very happy, repeat customer.
I've never been keen on the whole pre-packed delivered food, but Fresh Meals 2 U is AMAZING!!! Such good food, high quality and it taste great, maybe a little too good... I love the protein balls and the Raw Nut bars, I fight with my wife over them.
After a small incident last week, received my first box this week. Meals are so fresh and tasty that made me regret the time i wasted with other pre-prepared food providers. i also really appreciate their quick and friendly customer service. Give it a go once, i am sure you will thank me later :
Hi Tracy I just phoned to inquire about your chocolate decandant dessert , but unfortunately no longer available as some people think it's not healthy enough. Golly the public can be judgemental. The food is absolutely beautiful to taste and we have tried quite a few. The pork buns were amazing . So glad I so your sign advertised on the side of a truck whilst driving home from my daughters. If you can't find something in this beautiful range of food .COOK YOUR OWN as you are just to hard to please. It beats gourmet meals hands down.Thank you again Louise & Peter.
Meals just arrived. I've ordered home delivered meals from a few places over the years. This product would be the worst I've had. I'm not biased. Just a dude who's busy and trains each day and wants a good hearty meal on hand etc. First, the servings are tiny. I mean ridiculously small. The containers they are in are normal sized and you take a look and there is I just had 2 mains and am still hungry - first the bland tasting ravioli and then the quite nice stroganoff the tiniest 'smearing' of food in the container. I'm still hungry but at $9 a go I'm going to wait an hour and vent on here before I have my THIRD dinner. Ok back on track and my second point. The meals are impossible to open. I'm stronger than most and I couldn't get the plastic off the top even with my teeth!!! I resorted to piercing with a fork and using a 'crowbar' type action and all of my strength to get the plastic to finally give in and tear itself away. I'm going to finish these 20 meals in the next day or so and try someone else next time.
Love It! Working a very hectic schedule has always made it hard for me to keep me eating habits regular and hard to eat good clean food. I train a lot though the week but always found it hard to either lean down or gain big muscle. Since starting Fresh Meals 2 U, I have been able to keep a really regular diet, eating foods I love that are always fresh and ready to go. I feel better each day and have more energy for my hectic days. Ive noticed a huge difference in my fitness and really starting to gain more muscle while leaning down. Its so easy to just put the meal in the microwave for 2 mins, heat in the oven or eat it cold if I'm on the road. Recommend this to anyone!
you guys have saved me so much time. I have a very busy schedule and this service is a life saver. I don’t own a microwave so I put it in a baking tray and in the oven for five minutes and it’s ready to eat. All the food is pretty good but more than anything I order for the convenience. It’s also cheaper than my grocery bill was.
