About

Stock + Ladle Stall at the Fremantle Markets

Story

Stock and Ladle is a fresh idea in food.

Brazilian owner and chef, Roberto Abilio, brings his passion to plate with a menu inspired by street food and healthy living. Hearty soups and flavoursome panini’s form the delicious menu available to eat in or take-away. Try our homemade Gazpacho to cool you down in the heat or the ever popular ‘Cuban’ panini to give your hangover the heave-ho.

All ingredients in our kitchen are grown and bought locally. We believe in delivering the best quality of food to our customers. The stocks for our soups; vegetable, chicken, fish or beef are all made from scratch in house. Our chutneys, pesto’s and pastes are too, allowing us full creativity with an array of natural flavours.

The new range of organic drinks from Soho Exposed is the perfect accompaniment to our food.

Come by on your next visit to Freemantle Markets and see what our menu has to offer.

Fremantle Markets is a vibrant and lively destination that captures the essence of Fremantle’s unique culture. With its heritage-listed building and over a century of history, the market has a charming, vintage feel that’s instantly welcoming. The stalls offer a mix of fresh produce, handmade crafts, trendy fashion, and eclectic souvenirs, making it a one-stop shop for locals and visitors alike.nnOne of the highlights of the market is its incredible food selection. From artisanal pastries and freshly brewed coffee to international street food, there’s something to satisfy every craving. The aromas from the food stalls create an inviting atmosphere, and sampling various bites is a must-do experience.nnFremantle Markets also showcases local artisans, musicians, and street performers, giving the space a lively, community-focused vibe. You can often find unique, handmade goods, from jewelry and artwork to skincare products, all supporting local talent.nnThe market is open Friday through Sunday, making it a perfect weekend outing. Whether you’re looking to shop, eat, or simply soak up the lively atmosphere, Fremantle Markets is a true gem and an unmissable stop when visiting Fremantle. It’s a wonderful place to experience the best of local culture, creativity, and flavors all under one roof.
Have visited here several times and it hasn’t changed much and its not very big. Came early for breakfast and it was already quite crowded! We had a bratwurst and an egg sandwich which was yummy. The other stalls were selling the usual run of the mill items but they had a spirits festival in tents outside which was interesting. If you have never been here before it’s worth a visit.
We recently had a good time visiting the Fremantle Market which is held from 9am to 6pm Fri, Sat & Sun. The market is made up of The Hall shops and The Yard eateries and is located within the historic building 1897 with interesting Federation Romanesque architecture.nnWithin you'll find around 150 booths setup selling all manner of gifts, clothing, accessories, skin care, boutique and handcraft items along with a fair number of simple eateries, veggie and food retailers.nnAll was laid back, interesting and good bit of fun browsing, shopping and finding a bite to try while in Fremantle. Definitely worth your time if visiting Fremantle on market days.
We went as it is advertised as a destination worth visiting. It's not a big market. It has fresh produce, food outlets and stalls of usual market wares.nGood atmosphere. Located central.nParking if early no worries.
A beautiful market with a vivid atmosphere where you can find everything your heart desires.nFrom a huge number of food stalls with a variety of crazy good and tasty food to small individual businesses with all kind of handmade things to a farmers market with fresh fruit and vegetables.nOne of the best spots to spend some time on a weekend for sure!
