"With a strong appreciation for where tattooing has come from we bring all the best parts of classic tattooing up to a point where they meet with all the exciting and inclusive parts of modern tattooing. Spread across two studios we offer 12 artists who represent a range of styles so you can be sure we'll have an artist that is right for you.Walk-ins are Wednesday to Sunday every week, unless advertised otherwise, which is a great option for everyone who is too keen to wait for a booking.Our sister studio, Sisters Inked, is directly across the road at 37 Northbourne Avenue. At Sisters we offer accessible rooms for all clients that haven't been able to visit Freestyle before so please get in touch with either of our studios to book."

Received an amazing service at this place! The artist who worked on me, Luke, was incredibly professional and a kind person. You could tell from the beginning he was highly efficient and skilled at his craft, he talked me through the whole process and made me feel very comfortable. The end product of the tattoo massively exceeded my expectations. While this was my first time and I was slightly apprehensive, my experience at Freestyle has left me wanting to come back soon. I’ve been going to freestyle for piercings and tattoos for over three years now and am never disappointed. It’s a great environment and everyone is kind and knowledgeable. The piercer, Kaila, is exceptional and all tattoo artists I’ve seen have been amazing too. As someone with anxiety I struggle in many social situations but have always felt at home here. couldn’t recommend this studio more!Services: Helix piercing

Went for a walk in for my first tattoos, managed to get both the tattoos I wanted done. Extremely happy with what I got, staff were great and the tattoo artist was a great bloke. Would recommend to anyone

It's a shame really, never had issue with the shop until today dealing with reception. I rang to inquire about their gift cards. The receptionist had no idea what I was talking about about treated me like I had no idea what I was talking about as he has worked there for years. I double checked what I was asking about and realised he may just not know. I rang up to inform him as to why I have asked what I did and his reply in a rather rude tone was "okay, yeah" and he hung up. I was just trying to be polite and truly didn't think I had a been rude at any point.Services: Tongue piercing

Staff are friendly and accommodating. Studio is clean but homely with amenities. Reminder texts with reminder instructions are great!
Went in yesterday to do a walk in appointment. The process was easy, relaxed and super friendly. Vicki is such an amazing Women - one who is kind and provides the utmost customer service care. Omar tattooed myself and my sister and I must say: He is highly professional, beyond gentle and a fabulous artist. I can't fault his line work, it's super neat, flawless and loveable! The studio was welcoming, clean and offered such a great vibe/opportunity re: getting walk in tattoo appointments on the spot with only a little wait. I also highly recommend their tattoo balm!! [HUSTLE BUTTER] My tattoo loves it! It's filled with so many natural ingredients that are great for the healing process and your AFTER skin care It also defines prior tattoos and makes them look new again! 5 stars I highly recommend them. Thanks for being you, guys!
