The coffee is good. The place is nice. They really doing their covid safety as best as they can. Everybody must wear mask and they reminded their customers who doesn't. I didn't ate the pies but my son and husband said it was nice.
Best pie I've ever had! Wasn't much of a detour either. Add this stop to your road trip for sure!
Always great to stop either on the way south to my Aunts or on the way home. Excellent pies and cakes! Apple turnovers some of the best! R had the lamb pie this time … very nice indeed!
At $7.70 each I expected better. I had the kangaroo which was mince in gravy but didn't have enough to fill the pastry casing. Plus it didn't have much flavour at all. My partner had the curry pumkin and thought it was fairly good.
Things have changed while they still sell the pies its not like the original Feddo shop & pies. Relocated next door into a converted house you now longer have the smells and atmosphere of a bake house. Still a good range but now what was almost half the shop is only one small cabinet. They still sell ice creams very nice but that too is seriously reduced what some 20 flavours. At $4.80 for a single cone not cheap. They have created a cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating and serve coffee, teas, cakes and slices. A range of boutique gift Libes are also available The big plus over the old shop is a set of toilets for customers. Business is still good as many people from the retirement house on the other side of the street with their carer's come over. I have also seen the odd bus load of Chinese tourists perhaps looking for the iconic crocodile pies.. Still popular with travellers and the retirement village opposite.
Love the pies. Fresh, delicious, yummy flavours!! Friendly and cheerful service. From pepper steak , lamb and coconut, to classic flavours...whatever you desire you will be in for a special treat!! Highly recommend!!!
Great place to stop and reenergize for our trek home. They have a different assortment of pies from the normal plain, pepper steak, steak and kidney, bacon and cheese to the unusual crocodile and kangaroo!
Worth the trip off the freeway, large selection of very tasty pies some very interesting offerings. Nice feel to the place. Parrallel parked directly in front, plenty of space for larger vehicles with a trailer or van. Coffee and food was fresh and very tasty, delivered quickly. The ladies were so friendly and helpful they offered some great advice on local places to see. We will be back soon... thanks for a lovely experience
What a gem this is. Those familiar with the North Coast Route will be well familiar with Fredo’s. For those that aren’t, you’re in for a treat. A must stop on the drive with a delicious selection of pies. They won’t have them all in stock, but try out a different flavour. They’re delicious with a beautiful pastry. I enjoyed the coconut spiced beef and my wife the beef burgundy followed by a perfect custard tart. Don’t be shy when ordering- you won’t be disappointed!
Coffee was so bitter and tasteless. Haven't tried the pies. The barista was friendly.
