Great place for family and clean n tidy. Basketball court and Cafe is available . Council’s vegetable garden always attracts us with seasonal fruit n veggies.
Dont get confused !! this is inside the blacktown showground. Nice water play pad for kids. Toilets, bbq area and plenty of play area
It's a great park for kids, lots of shaded play areas, plenty of grass to kick a ball or set up a few chairs. The Cafe was open for takeaway. It was a hot day and it would have been great if the water park was open. Hopefully soon as both indoor and outdoor swimming pools are now open.
This park is situated in the Blacktown Showgrounds. The water play/splash pad is amazing. There are plenty of things to keep kids occupied in there and lots of seating for parents. It is also completely shaded for the kids. The actual playground leaves much to be desired, with awkward entry to the climbing structure, basic equipment and bark flooring that is often mingled with rubbish. The Showground itself is amazing and it is a lovely multi-use outdoor space.
Lots of shaded seating, public toilets, Cafe and a great dry or water play area for the kids. Decent parking too as long as it's not midday on a weekend.
Visited this park on a week day. Lots of interesting and well maintained play equipment and a good size flying fox. Water park is decent size and the kids always enjoy it. Picnic tables scattered around the play equipment and some under the trees which give good shade. Cafe located there as well. Water bubbler conveniently located near the play equipment as well as restrooms. Good walking path especially if you have a pram. Would come here again.
Best day out with all the family and the kids in a long time had a great day out plenty of facilities for BBQ play area and water park for the kids highly recommended
Its a very good place for kids to play. Has so many play areas in summer and wenter. My son loves this park plus it's near the train station.
Great place when the water park is open!
We like this park's water play which is why we go there. However, it has happened on a few occasions that we went there and the water was off without any explanation - sign. Today, it happened again although we saw that the ground was wet and some kids running around wrapped in towels. We decided to wait but when nothing happened in the next 45 minutes, i started wondering around the maintenance plant and found a guy in there. Asked what's happening and got an answer that the water won't be on again today. Started packing the kids only to see the water coming back on again in 2 minutes. While that was a nice surprise, it would have been nice if we'd had some info as to what was happening. Signage goes a long way for parents that head there for the water play and have kids to manage their expectations. Cafe is avarage, coffee takes a long time and food choices not amazing. The park itself is nice although suffers of the sometimes stupid crowd that goes there and litters which is unfortunately still an epidemic in the playgrounds of Sydney's west.
