While the food was surprisingly good, the atmosphere was really uncomfortable: Cheap decor and seating, extremely noisy kitchen blenders going every 30 seconds, and a sole frantic waitress trying to serve the whole restaurant. Plus the water was room temperature on a really hot day. Such a shame. Wouldn't go here again.
Good vibe, staff were pleasant. But $23 for a pizza that was sub par. You know 3 pieces of meat, virtually no cheese. Would forgive it if the taste was there, but failed at even that.
Very poor service from the same girl with the attitude.. I went there Sunday afternoon and ordered a coffee to have here in a cup not takeaway I asked and I also ordered a cookie to which she just grabbed with her hand and said there you go no plate or serviette I sat down waiting for my coffee and she shouted across the cafe at me' your coffee is here and for me to get up and go get it. All the other girls provide excellent customer service but this girl clearly doesn't and is bad for business, maybe she would be better working in McDonald's and the coffee she made was disgusting she clearly doesn't know what she's doing. I don't recommend going there when this girl is working...
Ordered breakfast and coffees. Breakfast arrived and were advised our coffees would be another 10 minutes, would we like them in a take away cup so we can take them with us. I like my coffee with my breakfast not after to take away, that's why you ordered it with your breakfast. One coffee arrived and when we enquires about the second coffee with the owner of the business were given excuses and then told it was our fault because we moved tables. Interestingly one coffee found its way to us . The owner stated it unrealistic to expect your coffee with your breakfast theses days especially when they are so busy. Another couple asked about what happened and I was speaking with them, the owner came over again was very rude, and told us to leave. We did and won't be back.
Always a good brekky everytime I have been, yet to try lunch or dinner menu. Good selection of various breakfasts on menu, something a little different - Food a little more affordable then some other cafes in Burleigh area. Only negative was my smashed avo was served inconsistent from one visit to the next - wasn't 'smashed' with the feta on next visit, so not as yummy.
Friendly staff? 1 out of 2 is OKish I suppose.... Low quality snack size Cafe food at a high price point. Got breakfast to eat in. It was served in disposable take away containers. No cutlery or crokery. Paper coffee cups. Paper plate-box. They clearly hate the environment and don't want to provide local jobs for a dishwasher. The coffee was OKish. The B&E roll was all bread and sauce. Enough sauce for 5 serves. It gushed out and flooded my cardboard plate-box. All in all I got a very antisocial vibe from the experience.
I have always loved coming to this cafe, however today the girl who seemed to be in charge was being beyond unprofessional. She continued to scream out orders and go off when a mistake had been made. The way this particular person spoke to other staff members was disgusting and at one point said to another staff member that she wanted to hit her. One team member was getting yelled at in plain view of everyone and she left in tears. Being a manager myself I would never ever speak to staff remotely close to this. This was not how anyone should conduct themselves, I would be ashamed and for this reason I won't be coming back.
Great coffee and nice food. Foxy Roxy is my favourite barista, her coffee making is excellent and her service is exceptional. Always look forward to to my morning coffee here especially when Roxy is on.
The service was ok, the staff was really friendly but the pizza took more than 30’, they did apologise and offer to upsize my pizza, though. The taste was ok, lots of cheese, which is good, but meat was limited.
Not bad for food, good service, not too expensive
