So I went to forever new at Hobart on Boxing Day. There was this girl who asked me for my covid 19 vaccination proof. I said I haven’t got it linked in my gov app but I can get it online. However I was wondering why is it necessary. I am registered nurse working at a hospital and even though we ask patient if they have been vaccinated or not we still treat them. But this girl said me that if I am not vaccinated I won’t be allowed to go in to shop. I was curious now that if someone has chosen not to get vaccinated then they can’t even shop. So I asked her what’s special in forever new that I have to get vaccinated to shop and not anywhere else. She said every shop should be doing the same but they are not so they are wrong and she is right. By this time she said I am wasting their lot of time and and said me to go away and didn’t even give me time to download my vaccine certificate online. I lost my interest in shopping after this and went home.
I am very much concerned about customer service here. The staff in the front door at 2 pm Boxing day was very rude to customers. She was not in the right place distractedly looking somewhere else and suddenly realised me and my friend came into the store and yelled at both of us requiring to see our evidence of check-in. We were quite unhappy but still checked in and showed her what she needed but it was not quite done yet, she asked further for our evidence of vaccination which was so funny : I 'd prefer she listed all of her requirements for entry into the store rather than hassling customers with a demanding and angry tone. I have not seen anywhere else except airports where vaccination certs are required :. My friend and I were both fully vaccinated but I was not pleased to follow whatever a rude staff demanded.
"Edit: Emailed this business at their request, 2 months and no reply." We went in on the weekend as we were going to grab a jacket tried on through the week, we were the only two people in the store, a little disappointed though, we tried to order a jacket for a gift but the lady serving us was interrupted by the other store worker, then when we asked for the jacket in a size not on the shelf we were told sorry we won't be getting that size in, just seemed uninterested in a very easy sale.
I had a really bad experience for my last online purchasing with Forever New. I ordered 2 items online in December 2018 and after 1 months, in January 2019, I am noticed that my order had been sent to a wrong address then sent back to their warehouse. After that, I contacted them to send them back again and I was happy to wait. However, 2 months later, I still haven’t received my order. I was so upset and called them to cancel my order and requested a refund on 2nd of April. They told me to wait for 3 business days to get my money back to my bank account. And now, after 3 more weeks, I still haven’t received my money back. I am very disappointed and will never shop with them again although I have been their loyal customer for years.
Amazing service from all the girls working on the day I went in after Christmas. Was welcomed as I walked in and they all went above and beyond for all the customers that were in the store at the time, very impressed.
