This is such a beautiful place to go down and eat your lunch, take the kids or grandchildren down, and get so close to seeing the birds come in for a feed.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
Unfortunately, when we got there at 11 am on the weekend, the tide had completely gone out within half an hour of being there, the sand was like quicksand and when in the water, it feel as if you were being sucked into a sinking sandpit. Everyone was covered from head to toe in what could only be described as slimy mud, my 16-year-old, 5-year-old and myself, all struggled to navigate through such terrible conditions, on what was a beautiful day. Restrooms: There was a hose at the entry point, but also restrooms not too far away. Picnic area: There was an extremely small picnic area but was already in use.
There are many pelicans. The view of the ocean from here is amazing.
My Grandfather lived in Crib Point so we were always around Stony Point growing up. Some my favourite fishing memories are from the pier.
Amazing place at the end of the road. Beautiful sunrises along with magnificent sunsets.

A nice secluded section of Westernport, usually not too busy, but when fishing conditions are good and during the holidays there can be quite a few people launching their boats, camping at the nearby campgrounds, or fishing off the jetty. Probably not the best place to bring kids to unless you're going to fish off the jetty. You'd be better checking out Hastings.
Guess if you haven't been there check it out, has a pier, Ferry to Phillip Island and Caravan Park, that's about it....
This is a great spot for a walk with the kids and dog . There are bbqs ancestor places to sit ,at high tide the swimming is terrific and low tide the mud flats are attractive lots of things to see.
