fords technicians hopeless, Common complaints and ISSUE 6sp R80 box slipping in for ranger 2020 read the thousands of complaints online, took it to ford, but oh no, the idiots did not even put diagnostic scan tool on it when they drive to measure auto input and output speed sensors to see the variation in speeds as it slips. All the fools could do is put bum in seat and drive and say I can’t feel it . I showed the a video of issue, leaving it in the manual mode so they could see the gear didn’t drop as the revs dropped 300-500rpm as it reached about 2800rpm, all while speed continually climbed. . It’s a common issue with many cars as the torque converter doesn’t lock up how it should. Fords advice, OH we can’t accept the video as u had it 8. Manual mode, omg if it’s showing slip it’s showing slip. Meanwhile for years it’s been costing me a lot more in fuel. Other friends get far better economy on same runs and even we swap cars I see their economy so much better when my cars been 200kg lighter. Ford has NOT diagnosed the issues technically to determine faults, it’s just oh I don’t think there’s an issue. . Next step is obviously need for a legal matter. Does my head in.
I can't thank Ford and especially Ankur enough for their exceptional service! Just hours before I was set to depart for a family holiday, an engine light issue popped up. Ankur was incredibly professional, quickly organising a booking with the service center and arranging a loan car so we could still head off on our pre-planned weekend getaway. I was absolutely blown away by the efficiency and care shown. Thanks to Ankur, our holiday was saved. I will forever be a loyal Ford customer!
The Ford Motor Company have NEVER responded, or offered any explanation for this, despite numerous emails!!! It has always been handballed, with no actual response !!!!!!!! BEWARE MUSTANG OWNERS.nHad my Mustang serviced at Wayne Phillis. They pointed out that I needed new front tyres, so I booked it in to a Tyre Specialist straight after, who advised me to return it to Wayne Phillis ASAP and very carefully, as my front left wheel was about to fall off as the wheel bearing had somehow come loose!!! Upon returning to Wayne Phillis, they did fix it, but were very vague as to how or why it happened, and why it wasn't picked up during the service.nThis could have resulted in a fatal accident! Ford have advised me that this should never have happened, as it is locked tight with a split pin. The wheel was fine prior to the service, and I've now lost all confidence in their service team, and would not recommend them.
Do not buy a Ford ever.nThey will not help you.nI have a 2013 dual clutch diesel turbo.nI've asked for help over the years but got nothing.nnI started asking for help in 2018 but they said this was not covered.nOnly the petrol models we're covered.nnNow my transmission needs replacing and it costs 12k for q new one or 6k for a refurbished one.nI asked for help again but typical Ford,nThey told me they can't.
BEWARE!!! Absolutely shocking experience we had buying a 2023 ford ranger from Etheridge ford Ringwood, the vehicle has rattles, transmission problems and electric faults I have video evidence to prove it it’s only been 2 months of the brand new vehicle purchase when these issues started. I have contacted several times it’s been 3 months and I still have issues with my car and was asked to go back to the dealer I bought it from I have done that and also been turned away now I have to go through VCAT I’m terrified and will never be purchasing a ford lemon again.
