Great outdoor place, had fantastic time in Momo fest and Deepak Bajracharya Concert. Loved the place and great place for family outings and picnic. It has a big kids friendly parks.
They do it every year, the best family fireworks This is the 3rd year for us and we absolutely love it. What a fantastic job by the council and community.
I love Footscray Park. It’s huge, vast, quiet, beautiful and I adore that the Maribyrnong River is right there next to you. The loop along the river and against the Racecourse is really fun and a great length, especially for walking dogs. The Racecourse side is essentially “fenced” in the entire way, your dog can just run with you on the path since theyre bordered by the river and the giant wall of the Racecourse. There is one section that is on-leash but most of it you can let your dog off and they can have a splash in the river too.nnIt’s really disappointing that the adventure playground has been dismantled, and a lot of the beautiful paths and lakes have been fenced off for probably 5+ years now. Maribyrnong Council, please speed this up!
Beautiful and very well maintained park with plenty of shaded places, bbq areas, seating areas, benches, lovely river with ducks and fishing areas.nnAs good as a park can get close to the city!
Just visited them today for the momo festival and it was a nice experience.nI'm happy to see the way the park has developed over the years.nnI enjoyed the walk around the Maribyrnong river and the festival gave me a chance to try different momo places and see the Japanese drum display.nnI wish I could stay longer but the weather became horrific.
