Story

Footscray City Films is an Independent Tertiary Institution providing courses which vary from one to three years in the CUA Creative Arts & Culture Training Package.
CUA41215 Certificate IV in Screen and Media
CUA51015 Diploma of Screen and Media
CUA606615 Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media.

Our Nationally Recognised Training Programs and courses are based upon competency based training principles
Students are provided with hands on tuition in Short Film Production on up to 20 films per year using industry standard equipment and post production facilities, taking students from concept right through to the marketing of their films.
These full-time, year long courses are designed to introduce students to professional digital and multimedia production techniques where students learn by making their own individual films and crewing on fellow student productions throughout the year.
To complete the CUA606615 Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media it takes three years. This includes one year of Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media, one year of Diploma of Screen and Media and one year in Certificate IV in Screen and Media.

UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION STUDENTS SHOULD HAVE

• A Nationally Recognised Training Qualification in The CUA606615 Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media (3 year course)
• A professional show reel of their work
• Professional production skills
• Professional contacts
