Our dining experience at Fook Shing was immaculate. The venue, a converted gold rush era hotel, is very spacious and beautifully designed. If you arrive early, there is a very cosy lounge area to wait while enjoying a drink. All of the food we ordered was excellent. The Asian broth is a must and the roast duck was the best I have ever had. The only reason I haven't given a 5-star rating is because our server seemed to be rushing us along even though we were finished 3/4 of an hour before the next sitting was due to start.
A wonderful experience! Staff were very attentive, they read the diners needs perfectly. Meal delivery was well spaced so we could enjoy each course without having to rush. Both food and cocktails were delicious. Restaurant has multiple sectioned areas for diners, intimate areas for couples, shared tables for small groups or larger spaces for larger parties. Bar space perfect to catch up for drinks with friends. Decor is reminiscent of holidays in Southeast Asia. This is a gem in Piper Street, you need to explore.
Great tasting asian fusion, serves were decent sized. Highly recommended if you're in Kyneton. Prawn betal leaf and pork belly were my highlights.
Wow, Fook Shing never disappoints. The ambiance and service is always impeccable. It is great to see the menu evolving yet championing the favourite dishes. A fantastic wine list. Looking forward to our next dining experience
