The worst and irresponsible store. You guys should be aware of your stuffs and stocks. Ordered a bucket with general groceriesmeat, spices and poultry products ended up getting just a bunch of coriander. Grow up and do real business with some responsibility and work on customer reviews.
They never update their products in Ubereats when they’re out of stock. No common sense to cancel an order only sending 1 banana because they don’t have anything else I ordered. Order ends up costing $5 for a single banana. Update your ubereats menu and don’t sell items you don’t have in stock. Absolute joke.
Just next to Newtown station. never too busy and good for quick shopping.
Good variety of products sold here but things are quite expensive... Convenient location near the station. Unfortunately they seem to stock quite a lot of unnecessary plastic packaging though.
It's great in terms of convenience, as it's right next to Newtown station. Foodworks is typically more expensive than Woolies or Coles, and this location isn't an exception. They do stock numerous fancy alternative brands, as seen with the pasta below. The store is quite dim inside. Service is reasonable.
The fruit packaging is dodgy. The bag of lemons I bought has clearly labelled "500 g Net". It in fact contained over 1kg. When drawn to the attention of the man at the check-out, the reply was "that's just the bag". The manager who just stands around when drawn to the fact that he was clearly decieving customers, told me to leave. I'll never return. Shonky, dishonest, unhelpful. Shop elsewhere.
This store is ripping money from customers. For the third time I noticed that they are charging more from what is displayed on the shelf. When I questioned them about it, they blamed it on the staff and refused to answer further. From the reviews I see that others have also experienced the same.
Truly the best Foodworks I’ve ever been to!! Such a nice atmosphere inside, great wide selection, very fresh produce of every type, amazing vegan meal and snack selection, but also not abnormally expensive. My favourite place to grocery shop in Sydney.
Welp - had some Roach Juice Baked Rotisserie Chicken from here so - would recommend avoiding that. Unless you need that extra protein for Roach Gains at the gym. Don’t do it. There aren’t many choices in Newtown so if I ever get my appetite back - we’ll see. They’re really nice here though, if that helps at all.
Not a Coles or Woolworths but better friendly service just right selection
