This is a great little local gem. It's nothing fancy, but there's a great extensive menu and the staff are friendly and the food is good. It's not necessarily the best Chinese food I've ever eaten in my life, but it was tasty and it scratched the itch I had for Chinese. There must be an additional/alternate menu if you're celiac or have a gluten intolerance, which you don't see in a heap of places. We didn't look at that, because we're fortunately ok, but the regular menu is long and full of things you know. The food was really nice. I thought the Chicken Fried Rice was a teeny bit underdone, but everything else was good. The batter on their Sweet And Sour Chicken was light and flavourful. Everyone loved what they got. Overall, I'd recommend this if you're in the area. It's not overly expensive and it's nice to support small, local businesses that do their best to provide friendly service and great meals.
We were recommended this place by a friend. When we got here, it was empty on a Saturday night. 3 tables only. Apparently this place has been here for 30 odd years. I found it strange that there were no food pics on google from other people in all that time, only pics of the venue. Anyways…..My partner and I call the food in this sort of place - just food. There isn’t anything special about it, you just eat it because you’re hungry.
Big disappointment! Don’t spend your time and money on someone that doesn’t respect it’s customers. I was waiting more than an hour for my food. When my five friends all received the entrée I’m sitting and waiting for mine and when all people at my table finished their food. my entrée still not here. We are definitely not going to come back.
Without a doubt the worst Chinese food we have ever had in a very long time None of the meals had any real flavour the sauces where like water The dim sums where like eating bricks The lemon chicken was a deep fried chicken snitzel with a heavily loaded msg sauce BBQ pork and plum sauce had zero flavour and all vegetables And to top It off the meal took 45 minutes longer than our booking confirmation TBH I don’t know how they are still I’m business?
My family went for dinner to Fongs. We orderd soups and main course. Had to wait for 1 hour to get soup and after 1 hour and 15 minutes we were told that they ran out of food that we ordered. We left after 1.5 hour waiting for food. But take away orders were flying like there is no tommorow.Horrible service. Very disappointed.
Waited 30mins for take away. I understand there was a huge take away order that put the staff under pressure but it would have been nice if the delays were communicated to customers.Food: 4/5
Waited 45 min for food order dining in with friends absolute joke siting and waiting while takeaway going out the door definitely not coming back
Ordered a veggies and tofu dish for carry out lunch. Really bland. Depressingly so. But it was all fresh and in the right proportions and not over, or under cooked. I got veggies and cashews, but no tofu. I had ordered by name and number. Restaurant looked clean and well maintained. I won't give up on this one, but I will read more on the different menu items to get something more flavorful.
Chicken wings we’re pathetic spring roll was a garlic fest bbq ribs weren’t bbq and all chopped up on the plate u can’t even take a bite of the pork because when u do it’s hit 80% Bone % 10 griddle % 10 meat And you have to pay for a bag
We live in COVID times and everthing is upside down however if you order dinner and they say pickup in 35min and you are still waiting 80min later - good service or bad management? If you in a hurry and kids want to be fed, stay away
