FNQ Plastics supply and manufacture a versatile range of plastic products and components for domestic, industrial, commercial, scientific, marine and retail/office applications. We started over 20 years ago in a small shed with a modest range of materials handling products and basic Perspex and plastic fabrication services.

Service was friendly and efficient but make sure you get a quote to be clear what you will be paying. I wanted some polycarbonate pieces for some lights I'd made but they had no stock. The owner said he could order me a sheet and would take 3 days and would be $145 . Good, I asked if they could cut the pieces to size if I required and he said no problem around $5 a cut. The girl at reception who took the order rang me 3 days later to inform me my sheet had arrived. Being short on time I asked them to cut the 7 units at 125 x 1300 mm I required . 2 days later I received the call that they were ready to collect. The girl at the counter gave me a total of $171 to pay and bought out the 7 pieces. I then asked for the off cut over half a sheet as I ordered a full sheet thinking this price must include a whole sheet. I was told that they had used an assortment of sheets and offcuts to make up the order and there wasn't an off cut remaining ! the total amount was made up of 7 cuts @ $11 each and a square metre rate for the material !! Seeing as a sheet is 2.9 square meters and my order amounted to 1.2 square meters. Material cost should have been $60 of my sheet order plus cutting $77 double quoted . Now I know it's not huge amounts but I left feeling I'd been played.
Colin and the team at FNQ Plastics are about as friendly and honest as you get. I've had the pleasure of touring the manufacturing base right here in Cairns - not overseas from China. They make the stuff they sell and it's top quality. Personally I am very very interested in the re-claimed plastic retainer walls. With our seasons up here, the wooden bollards and retaining walls at our place need ongoing maintenance. With a ReGenWall replacement I know they are going to last forever - and it's all come from recycled plastics. Great for the home and the Earth!
Brilliant,,Timely company...How about a Bunnings Plant Pot colored design competition for high schoolers-& winner gets national product sold every where....Cardboard pizza boxes a big problem,how about plastic ones that can be washable,returnable,not binned.....A plastic front outside door flap-- airtight sealable of 1 metre sq- that keeps floodwaters out..could also be used over glass windows to prevent storm / cyclone breakages..
