Helping my son on his new block of land, we generally try to stay close for lunch. So just up the hill on Warringah Road in Narraweena are a small group of shops that sell take away food. Hands down, the busiest business is Flame N Chicken, and they are not only quick with your orders but the food is brilliant. There are a small number of seats available to eat your food right there, an wow, the number of hungry customers tells the story. Good food at good prices and quick preparation. For years I have driven past this shop, but now it is one of my favourite eating places. It is not a five star restaurant, but the food, the prices and the friendly service are definitely five stars.
The owner has dropped the $20 minimum spend so happy to give 5 stars as the food is always yummy .. bacon/egg/cheese roll with a hash brown & can of drink for $10 yummy

This place has the best pesto pasta salad ever, burgers are lit. Customer service is wonderful. I haven't been in years and it just made my whole day coming back and munching on delicious food
I ordered a grilled chicken burger, it was disgusting. It smelled off. I took one bite and knew it was bad. When I took it back for a refund they flat out refused. Won’t ever go back here.
The militancy with which they refuse to use eftpos for anything under $20 makes one suspect they are tax dodgers of the highest order. I could be wrong, but the every increasing crowds gathering at Charcoal Charlie’s down the hill in Dee Why might reveal others have the same feeling.
Ive had the chicken roll, the family pack everything has been delicious recently I had the bacon n cheese burger was very good. If you ask for a small combo there is plenty of chips. Plenty of Parking outside but can be filled up quite quickly. Just wait a couple of minutes n someone will be leaving.
Best chips ever! Burgers are great and meals are such good value! They don't stinge on chips either!. Ignore the reviews about the EFTPOS limit - they're forgetting to mention there is an ATM right outside the shop! Great location and great food.
Bit expensive & minimum $20 spend on eftpos. !! Food is good though. Just seems a bit "dodgy" to me. They always ask you if you have cash......
