It is a nice place to dine in rather. Offers outdoor seating as well. A bar is there , so of course alcohol yes. Happy hour specials are there. They open in the evening at 5.00pm. You would find it is confusing to find it because it is attached to a motel which seems to be the same group I guess. Food is good enough. Coffee option was good too. Have got a fire place , but 30/12/2022 evening when we visited there, it wasn't going on. Table service is there. Cards are accepted.
Loved this place! It's next to the hotel we stayed at so we had our breakfast here which was delicious and coffee was great. It's just got an awesome feel when you're here with super friendly staff, great decor and good food. Definitely recommend coming here
There's so much character in this bar. Felt like a hunting lodge with the roaring fire. Nice big windows to see outside pity it was too cold to sit outside. What we really liked about it though was the friendly staff. The bar staff were so helpful when we were deciding on wines and they were knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed it so much we stayed for dinner and even meet the chef. Food was hearty and delicious. Can't wait to come back!
My partner and I got a burger each. Both tasted really good and the fries were also top notch. Service wasn't the best - we found our own seats and menus, etc and we didn't get cutlery with out food, however the food did arrive reasonably quickly considering how busy it was. Would definitely come again for some decent pub grub and beers.
I’m not one to write bad reviews but you will have to pay me to go back here. Worst dining experience ever, starters came out after 40 mins “calamari” were deep fried squid rings & garlic bread was what you buy at the supermarket. After waiting 1.5 hours to get our main meals my steak was chewy, grey tinged & cold in the middle yet the plate it was on was scalding hot. Partners burger was very average. 1/10 experience.
Staying at the accommodation next door so thought we would go here for a nice NYE meal and cocktails. We were wrong. No cocktails being served even though on the menu. Very overpriced food which unfortunately was also disappointing. Plastic plates, meals slapped together and a long wait for how empty the place was. This should have been our sign to leave, it was dead Wasn’t the start to the evening we were hoping for. Save your money and go elsewhere. I wouldn’t even bother stopping in for a drink unfortunately. Such a shame as it could be a great place. Staff were friendly.
Awesome decor, friendly staff. However a few things I noticed the glassware was all dirty, we all thought the food was extremely over priced, $28.00 for the beef burger, buns were old and dry. We were lucky the kitchen was still open when we arrived, but mopping with bleach in the restaurant when your patrons are still eating is a big no for me.
Terrible. Don’t waste your time and money. I ordered the pasta dish and was told by the waitress it would be a creamy bacon and mushroom fettuccine with parmesan cheese. I was served a vegetarian spicy tomato bow tie pasta dish. I could not finish it. Do not recommend.
Disappointing food. We were looking forward to a nice dinner after tramping for a few days. What a let down! The lady who served us was lovely but the food was below average. Would not recommend.
Awful service. We asked for the $26 pizza and jug deal which the menu stated was 4-6pm daily it was 5:20. The menu did not mention anything about this deal only being mon-fri. The waiter staff and bar staff were both extremely rude and told us that we couldn’t get the deal as it was a weekend after they had given us the jug. The staff were unapologetic and disrespectful. We received our entree which was soggy chips and cancelled the rest of the order. Do not recommend. Such a shame
