The staff with nice the pool area and the crowd would good laying swimming with easy the change room for filthy dirty and the showers just terrible shutting off every 5 to 10 seconds really pathetic
Obviously the place to be in summer. Can’t fault the vibe but atrocious provision of shade. They’re ok with packing as many bodies into the space but near to negligent about providing adequate shade. Simple suggestion: install more umbrellas on the north side of the pool!!
The staff are great and the facilities are good. 2 main issues I have is that there is constantly a wait to get in as the seem to reach patron capacity no matter what time I go there. This morning, I was there at 9.30am and still they have reached max capacity. My assumption is that there was staffing issues in terms of the patrons vs lifeguard ratio, because when we eventually enter the pool, it was far from packed... we even got a sun deck chair each. But it seems to happen all the time. I don't remember a time where I could just walk straight in and have to wait.
Lush Friday lunch swim. Pool however is super dirty. The bottom is brown . Just don't look down And it's perfect
The iconic Fitzroy Swimming Pool on this cloudy day was, as always, part of the fabric and history of Melbourne. A great pool.
Great place for a summer swim! But the gym and pricing structure is oddly greedy. It’s $26 for a casual visit which is both more than a single fitness class and more than their weekly fee for a membership! The gym itself is pretty good but quite daggy. Not a great layout if you do free weights. Go here for a swim but there’s much better options around for a gym.
Great outside swimming pool, very clean. There have two lanes for aqua exercises and beginners, free swimming board available there. The sauna room is small but neat and warm.
This is the best swimming pool in Australia. Ten lanes of outdoor, all-year, heated bliss. Iconic design and history combine to create an ambience that seals the deal.
I love to go late in the evening when you can almost guarantee a lane to yourself!! Perfect water temperature and lovely staff. 10/10
One of the best pools in Melbourne. Always clean. Two kids' pools with shading. A great vibe on hot summer days. Not too busy the rest of the time. Friendly staff. The only problem is the sauna usually sits at around 60 degrees.
