Stumbled upon this cozy fish and chips place after a visit to the Brooklyn Bridge. We were the last customer and they were getting ready to close up. The food came out fairly quickly. Options for both indoor and outdoor sitting.
Great little fish and chips outlet with outdoor seating. We enjoyed our lunch there today and the helpful staff. The fish was fresh, and the batter was light abd tasty. Chips were somewhere between chips and fries, and nicely crisp and salted. Would recommend for a high quality feed!
Great Chips perfectly gold and crispy. Fresh fish cutlets, and prawn cocktail. Calamari ring is tasty. This place is an underated gem!!
Once again, we’ve had awesome fish and chips here at Fitzies. The seafood are fresh and tender, batter on the fish and potato scallops is light and crispy while the crumbing on calamari rings is nicely crunchy. Everything we ordered is cooked to perfection just like every other times we’ve been here. We have never had a bad meal here, quite honestly, which is the reason we keep returning for more! Purchased fresh green prawns from the corner and got them to fried here. Staff is friendly, chips and prawns were amazingly cooked. Thanks for the lovely meal.
Chips were good, but the fish & batter were quite boring. It's one giant piece, rather than a few smaller ones, so it's hard to share. A friend order the salt & pepper fish - also quite boring, and also chewy. The atmosphere was kind of fun with chickens, a rooster, and a turkey hanging about, but the food was just average.
lovely setting by the bay we had a prawn and salad burger in Brooklyn at Fitzies Fish and Chips! Fresh and delicious! We also tried a few oysters they are quite small. Service was pleasant and fast
Very fresh and tasty fare, fast and friendly service. The chips could have been a touch more golden, but they did prep ours quickly because they knew we were getting the train. Very reasonably priced too, much more so than the local pub/bistro. Would recommend a feed here after a hike or swim in the area! Will come again.
Fish was quite nice for what it was. However, 2 people in our party ordered the prawn roll and the roll was completely stale
Not bad. Chips were tasty, crispy and cooked quite nice. Fish batter was a bit greasy. Prawns were very fresh.
