Where to start! Firstly my partner and I ordered 2 Burgers and a side of chips with chicken salt. We were not informed that the burgers came with chips already and ended up with a massive amount of chips without any chicken salt. Furthermore my partners burger didn't have any of the salads she requested and paid for. Upon calling up the shop we were informed that we were not able to speak to the manager and to try again another time. Completely rude and i will be following this up to try and get our $33 back after our nice night was ruined. Eat somewhere else.
I sent my girlfriend in to get 5 dollars worth of chips, when she returned they had given her less then 30 chipsCold at that when I called up to question what had been given to her I was yelled at and abused by the lady on the other lineI believe she is the manager as she is in there every time i walk past for questioning her chip scooping ability's. I am shocked by the behaviors of the staff and the low quality of food and will not be back.
Ordered a whiting dinner meal some calamari and a dim sim. I know whiting is not a big fish but the pieces i got were about the size of my little finger in length and width. The calamari was near tasteless and the salad was pretty much all wilted. Overall a very disappointing meal and would not go again
Terrible! Way over priced for the quantity and quality of the food expecting a good simple meal of fish and chips but the fish was soggy breadcrumbs not even on the fish but stuck to the paper instead and the fact that the fish was so thin it was almost see through. I didnt think fish and chips was that hard to stuff up it.
Woeful and won't be back. Incomplete order, overcharged, the fish was disgusting and the salad was pathetic. Seriously hopeless. Most frustrating part was that even the lemon provided for the fish was so old it looked like it should have been thrown out long ago. Gave it a squeeze and it was so old no juice came out just 4 seeds!
Ordered two fish burgers and chips. The burgers consisted of a piece of cod and a scrap of lettuce - no other salad - on a dry stale bun. Actually the lettuce was the hard, white, tasteless bit from the centre most people throw out. The chips tasted like they had been fried in rancid oil. Disgusting
The food is awesome and the people are nice. I like to check the chicken burger for like $9, it's huge, comes with a tonne of chips and I'm always full way past dinner. They also always give my extra ice cream in my milkshakes.
What a let down! We had been craving lovely crunchy battered fish, calamari and chips What we got was rubbery fish tasteless calamari. This was a real disappointment :
THE FISHERMANS CAFE IS NOW CLOSED AND IS NOW CALLED PANENIES CAFE. EVERYTHING HAS BEEN CLEANED AND UPGRADED AND NOW WE SERVE THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS IN BRISBANE. WE OPEN 7AM TO 8.30PM. BREAKFAST LUNCH AND DINNER
I feel as though the food is definitely over priced and the food is average. HOWEVER this place is way better than BWS at Everton Park, Stafford Road. They are easiest the worst BWS in history. Would not recommend that store.
