Not happy. $16.99 for 6 pieces of salt and pepper calamari, chips and salad. The calamari were tiny probably less than 100g total and they didn't include the salad. The calamari was also mostly batter with very little actual calamari. Extremely disappointed. Normally there's a young bloke working who is really good, but instead it was an older lady who served me. I called them to say I didn't receive my salad but the lady said "I'll just be a second", then hung up. I shouldn't have to chase them for something I've paid for. Moreover I live 15 minutes away so its not exactly convenient to return. The prices here are high for the quality - thats fine as usually I like the staff, but its outrageous to not receive my complete order and then have somebody hang up on me.
Return visit to Fishbowl as I had guests for pre-Xmas lunch. It was busy but I was able to grab a grilled seafood platter with lots of tasty fresh baby octopus, juicy prawns and calamari! Highly recommended
Very, very happy with this place! Not a bargain, but you pay for quality, and the food and the staff were A1! I’ve eaten here a few times and I’ll be returning!
I go here often. It's a family run business. Everyone is very nice. The food is fresh and cooked to perfection. There is a wide variety of fresh salads to compliment your chosen seafood. Prices are good as well. Vegetarian options: Salads
Fishbowl Newington is a top fish & chips place that my wife Lassie Zia and I go to all the time. The staff are brilliant and the quality of food is amazing. We've had Fish Burgers of all forms, tried all the salads and it's just done really well. Even if you want basic Fish & Chips, it's just done great. Top spot, highly recommended and love their work!
I ordered the seafood basket and I was very satisfied! The fish was especially tasty and all the salads looked so good was hard to choose!! Portion was large for the price and service was great too! Glad to see new owners who know what they are doing! Will definitely be coming back! Edit: food is always perfect! I've been ordering the grilled salmon lately!! Love it!
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Had the worst experience recently. Ordered fish cocktails via Uber Eats and when the order arrived, I was extremely disappointed with what it looked like. The cocktails were too oily and dark probably overcooked. I literally had to remove the coating as it felt like chewing rubber. The cocktails were tasteless and the coating on them made them taste worse. Never going to order again.
Great place to have some fried seafood. The battered savs were delicious! Friendly customer service. Would definitely recommend!

Love love love the new fishbowl!!! Friendly and helpful staff and the food is amazing - always so fresh and tastes great!! They have a huge variety on their menu and the atmosphere there is relaxed with music playing and lots of table space. My new favourite seafood place!!!! :
