This place is filled with history and character with a register from the 1950s, am oven from the the 30s and a shop that is equally steeped in history. The muffins are light, fluffy, flavoursome and perfect. The sourdough is incredible and I almost ate the whole loaf the day I bought it.

Truly one of the best bakeries in Melbourne. Delicious baked goods fresh daily and often straight from the oven making them even more delectable. I've never had anything bad here, Firebrand are truly the best of the best and every meal is made with love. The service is also great, really friendly people.

Love this local bakery. They have their staples and a rotation of delicious baked goods. They have vegan muffins which are delicious. I bought a vegan xmas cake from here and it was honestly the best xmas cake I've ever had - very moist and flavorful.

Up there amongst the best 2 or 3 sourdough bakeries in Melbourne, and definitely #1 this side of the Yarra. One of the originals and best, before it was trendy.

Great bakery serving a nice range of artisan sourdough breads and some delicious sweet treats. Well worth a visit.

Awesome, hearty, honest bread. There are other bakeries in this category that have a bougie cult status, but these guys are just as good and keep it low key. The seeded Parisian is our favourite, but all their breads are amazing and their baked goods are awesome too!
