My Room at Lakes Resort was very clean and had everything I needed for my 3 night stay. I loved the view across the lake and the lovely sunsets. This was my second stay. Complimentary Breakfasts were a nice surprise, generous size, great ingredients and tasty. Would stay again! All staff were fantastic.
The company booked for me a large room with. Great view looking out onto the water. The quality of the room seemed standard for the price about 180 a night. Room was clean and quiet no loud and noisy neighbours when I was there. Reasonable size gym. Reasonable size swimming pool but the pool surrounds seemed a bit run down
As a whole the stay was good. The views from the balcony were really nice. The bed was comfortable and we both slept in and were completely relaxed after just one night away. If I had to be critical checkout was a bit odd. I wanted to just fix up my bill and know that everything was paid up. The rather rude lady at reception insisted that they would fix it up in the afternoon and email me the receipt. I actually wanted to pay cash but said whatever, I didn't want this person ruining my trip. In the end they have stuffed the payment up and undercharged me. Curious to see if they read this and try to charge me now? I have screenshotted my account so I will not be impressed if they are that petty. Apart from that one person the staff were great, extremely helpful and I will definitely stay again. Next time I just won't book anything to my room. Recently stayed overnight and attended a wedding function. All aspects of the wedding, the food and the room were fantastic. The only part that lacked was the pool room which is in need of some maintenance. Parts of the wall are looking horrible and there was no vibe in the room at all, just dull. The following morning I enjoyed the best breakfast burger in the restaurant. Overall, an excellent time was had. Rooms: Nice clean and comfy
Lakes you have done it again. Another awesome stay. Thank you. All staff offered brilliant service. You are all well chosen. Food superb. Singapore noodles, chicken schnitzel and churros were a stand out for me. Whoever made my Margaritas...they were the best ever. Rooms beautifully cleaned and presented. Thank you wonderful cleaners.
Not a guest here, just here for the breakfast. They had a buffet pre-COVID that was AMAZING. Now it's a fixed serving for $1 more. The food is EXCELLENT - it's just not NEARLY enough for the money. I can get a better deal at Vili's, and at anytime of the day instead of just breakfast hours. If and when their breakfast buffet is once again available, they'll earn my five-star rating. Until then the experience is rather underwhelming. Nice view, though! Food & drinks: Great food but too pricey for too little. COVID is no longer an issue... time for a return of the buffet!
Have not stayed here however have dined here many times and used the pool area as a guest. The dining experience has always been impeccable. But the pool and spa area! Woeful. Tacky plastic chairs, peeling spa tiles, peach 1980’s colour scheme, unclean pool, yuk toilets, vile carpet, ice cube wall… please renovate and clean pool! Declined a swim and a spa. Didn’t want to catch something!
The Restaurant Manager is quite rude and talked down to us for no good reason. Made us feel uncomfortable and overmonitored us for no good reason. We are a quiet family and show respect for everyone around us. The Bar Staff and Managment however are exceptional. It's like your in a different hotel when you walk across. Will not eat here again however will be happy to come past and have a drink with my Family or Staff. This rating is purely for the service in the Restaurant area we recieved and does not reflect at all on the rest of the hotel. It is such a shame. I hope things change in future
Great place to stay for the price. The rooms were very clean and the bar well priced. The breakfast and dinner was delicious. Really enjoyed our stay. Rooms: Very clean
Stayed one night with a cooked breakfast included great rooms and awesome service. Great view of the water. Good breakfast was included in the price which was a little expensive.Rooms: 5/5
