Had the chicken avocado rice latter was exquisite and fiercely tasty combined with a salad mix. Excellent service and quick food preparation. Bar is well stocked with a variety of South American and local beers. Decor is one of the best one, if not the best in the entire Westfield Chermside.
We visited for lunch on a busy Friday. We had never eaten here before and had no expectations of the food or service. We were pleasantly greeted by a staff member who showed us to a table and provided us with menus for food and drinks. We were automatically provided with cold water without asking. The menu has quite a choice of food. We were really impressed and ordered the Friday special, Friday Fiesta. The meal was a generous serve of chilli pulled beef, rice, salad, beans and something else that was very nice. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. It is the first time in years I have eaten something that I found remotely spicy and I loved it. To complement the meal was a freshly squeezed orange juice which was equally nice. I really enjoyed the food. The service was also very good. If you do not have a strong tolerance for spicy food do not order one of the spicy dishes. There are many other options on the menu that will better suit your tolerance. Highly recommended. I will be back.
The menu is totally gluten free and there are also heaps of vegan and paleo options too! I had the Vegan Grande arepa taco/burger and the Veggie Patch empanadas. The food was fresh and delicious and served promptly. I think they could of used an extra set of hands on the floor though as the one waitress seemed as though she could use an extra set of hands. Customer service was super friendly. I definitely plan on returning and making my way through their vegan menu options.
Excellent place, delicious food, very recommended. Congratulations to the Chef, Im Colombian and I remembered latin flavours when I ate the first bite. Im so delighted of coming here, the best latin food I have tried in Australia.
It's pretty good food and the service is quick for a not so busy night. Worth a look for sure.
At first I was unimpressed by the spartan seating and bare bones decor, but the food is delicious, the music lively, and the selection of drinks impressive. Lots of vegan and vegetarian choices mostly with black beans. Staff is friendly, although staffing levels are slim, and it can take a while. It’s not Tex Mex, although they take some liberties in the creative process to deliver a Latin fusion product that is uniquely Australian. Highly recommended.
Me and my husband waited for 40 minutes for the food we ordered even for two teams except us. They didn't say sorry to us and were abrupt. Even the food was very bad, cold, dry and also I ordered Soy Cappuccino, but it smelled like milk, not soy milk. It even tasted burnt and the milk bubble was lumped. It was expensive, bad, time consuming, and I'm not going to visit here again. very disappointed.
Your staff member today was running the fort solo, he did such a fantastic job of cooking and serving. Best customer service experience in a long time. You are lucky to have such wonderful staff! The passion fruit cocktail was amazing and so were the tacos!
Food was a bit lacking in flavour. I expected super flavourful food but it was a little plain and not enough spice. However it did taste super fresh. My partner had the tacos and these were very average with hardly any meat.
I like that they do grass fed and free range meat. However they need to clean up the place. The menus were held together by sticky-tape and the drinks menu text was all rubbed off and blurred, the waitress had to find a breakfast menu so I could see the drinks. One 'clean' water glass has lipstick or lip balm stains on it. The waitress was polite but the service is non-existent. My Venezuelan caveman dinner was yum and the plantain chips are good. Not sure where the supposed hot sauces are, couldn't see them anywhere. A bit of a mixed review; nice food but the place needs a shake-up.
